"I stumbled on this gem while attending a business meeting in Jacksonville. I was looking up for Indian restaurants close to downtown and this restaurant popped up on my search. The menu looked more South Indian flavors and I decided to give it a try. Walked in without a reservation and the staff were kind enough to get us a table. We started off with a sabudaana vada. The chutney and the vada were on point. For the main course, we decided to get Malabar parotta, chicken curry and hariyali pulao. Flavor fest in your mouth!! The owner of the restaurant stopped by our table and got us a sample of rasam to try. It definitely reminded me of home. If you are in Jacksonville and want to try Indian food, keep this place on the top of your list. PS: Reserve a table and the menu changes by the season."

"Mesa was highly recommended from family and friends in Jacksonville, tried it while visiting town and it even exceeded all expectations from what we were told. From the food and drinks to the service, this restaurant is one we will definitely keep coming back to! "First time at this place and we are impressed! The weather was nice and cool and we sat outside on the patio, where they had heat lamps and a covering from the wind and rain. It was a really nice atmosphere! The inside was cozy and intimate too. The food was all really delicious! We ordered the mesa wings to start, which had a really nice flavor, and the hummus. We also got a side of fries to share and it was HUGE! It could definitely be enough for 6 people to share at a table. We got the lamb burger, which was interesting, and the classic chicken curry. Our favorites were the wings and the hummus. We also got mango lassi and chai, which were both amazing. One person who was Indian in our party said that not everything tasted exactly as he expected, and I was hoping the foods would be a little bit spicier as well. But overall, still very good and not too bad for the price!"

"Food was absolutely delicious! Mesa has a great fusion of vegan Indian cuisine with American favorites. The atmosphere is amazing and all the staff is knowledgeable about the food and products. Paula was very friendly and a great help with answering all our questions about all the food and drinks as they passed by. Coconut milk is a staple in the vast majority of their food and adds a great flavor to all of their dishes, perfectly complimenting all of their appetizers, main dishes, and even beverages. I highly recommend stopping by if you happen to be in the area!"

"We were a party of 12. Everything was delicious. Not a single complaint. MJ was a great server. Paula from the bar was also so sweet and attentive. They were able to seat us on time. Very knowledgeable with their menu. We will definitely be back."
