"Hands down the BEST meal have ever eaten in the lower keys. A must stop. I had the table side Caesar salad, beef Wellington and strawberry flambé. Wow o wow!! Alli was our server and she was outstanding. Super attentive and personable. Brad and Lola are awesome too!! Truly a one of a kind experience!"
"Omg went there on Saturday around 6pm, the place was busy. Got seated outside. The courtyard is so pretty! Lacey our server did a fantastic job. Food came out looking like a vision. Of course I forgot to take a picture. I was so hungry. Ordered 2 dessert. Red velvet cake .. yummy I had the crème brulee best ever"
"The food was great. The staff were friendly and we felt well taken care of. Get there early, it gets busy."
"Upon pulling into BROIL, I was greeted by a large, individually lettered sign outlined in red, set against a backdrop of low-lit, jungle-like foliage just off the patio seating. It was December, two days after Christmas, and the air was cool and breezy – perfect for dining outside at this quaint little island steakhouse. The hostess was the epitome of pleasantness, eagerly sharing her dining experiences and recommending dishes that she thought I would enjoy. I settled comfortably at my table, quickly attended to by a waitress and server assistant. As water was poured, the waitress introduced the team who would be taking care of me, all under the soft glow of moonlight and the upbeat melody of "What a Little Moonlight Can Do." For starters, I chose a classic shrimp cocktail featuring plump Key West pinks, chilled to perfection. Then, I moved on to a refreshing salad, uniquely presented with cucumber slices wrapping a spring mix, chilled tomatoes, tricolor peppers, and fresh pepper. The main course was an exquisite surf and turf: an 8oz filet paired with a South African cold water lobster tail, alongside lobster mashed potatoes with a delicate crisp and a perfectly balanced garlic beurre blanc sauce, rich with lobster meat.To accompany my meal, I selected the "Outer Bound" Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley – a sublime choice. Dessert was an unforgettable chocolate crème brûlée, recommended by the waitress. Its hot, crunchy top and creamy, chilled ganache were simply out of this world. The ambiance at BROIL was relaxed yet sophisticated, even for a steakhouse. The timing of the courses was spot-on, providing a leisurely dining experience. The service was attentive and prompt, adding to the overall enjoyment. The only slight letdown was the absence of a personal greeting from the manager, but this did not detract significantly from the wonderful evening. All in all, dining at BROIL was a delightful experience, one that I would gladly repeat."
"Broil in Cudjoe Key, Florida is a true gem of a restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with the elegant decor and cozy atmosphere. However, it was the outstanding service from our server Dee that really set the tone for our dining experience. Dee was attentive and friendly throughout the evening, making excellent recommendations and ensuring that our every need was met. But it was the food at Broil that truly stole the show. We started with the jumbo shrimp appetizer, which was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. The house salad was also delicious, with a variety of fresh greens and a light vinaigrette dressing. For our entrees, we opted for the shrimp and yellow tail dishes. The seafood was cooked to perfection and the accompanying lobster mash potatoes were a standout dish. But it was the asparagus covered in a lightly fried egg that really took the meal to the next level. The combination of flavors and textures was simply divine. Overall, Broil in Cudjoe Key exceeded our expectations in every way. From the outstanding service to the delicious food, we left feeling completely satisfied and eager to return. If you find yourself in the Florida Keys, do not miss the opportunity to dine at Broil."
