Ichiban Japanese Steak House

"Been here twice. First time was a satisfactory experience so I thought to go in for another one. Second visit was an awful experience to say the least. We came in a few minutes after 9pm on a Friday and were seated promptly, but it took about 10 minutes for the server to get our drinks order. Another 10 minutes to get our food orders in. Store hours states they are open til 10 pm so I assumed everything will be quick since the store wasn’t packed. I was told after waiting over an hour that the sushi I ordered is no longer available. The hibachi foods we ordered weren’t ready after waiting for over an hour. Only had one drink refill over the course of our stay. For the price of the food, I was expecting a better experience but clearly it was not in our case. Staff were less attentive. We end up putting our orders in Togo boxes. Definitely not coming back and will not recommend to others."

"We came in for a nice birthday dinner. The tempura was crunchy, the eel was savory and rich, and the crab was buttery. We sat in a booth, but we could see the hibachi experience from where we were, which was really cool. Definitely ask for some of their homemade hot sauce."
