"The food is decent but if you're getting chicken they do cook it really fast to get it out to you but makes a lot of the pieces hard and not appetizing and becomes a disappointment. I wish they would slow down on cooking general tso, sesame chicken or any of the breaded chicken so the pieces aren't hard to eat. Ordering online expect to wait longer when you go pick your food up. Usually I wait at least 30 minutes when I get there which is way too long considering the time it says it will be ready when you order it online for instance It says 630 your order will be ready but in reality it's ready at 7pm or possibly longer."

"This has been our favorite Chinese restaurant for a few years now. We went back last Friday. Everything was still very good, except for the rice. They seemed to have changed either the kind of rice or the recipe. No one in our group liked it. Please please change back to the old rice!! I would still like to recommend this place but not until the rice has been changed!"

"Worst pu pu platter. First time ordering this and would never again. Overcooked and possible “sitting” in the pan quite a long time. Threw half in the trash."

"Second time ordering from Golden China. This time I ordered special fried rice, shrimp egg roll, and boneless spare ribs. Definitely New York style Chinese food. I've tried 6 different places in Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda. Golden China is by far the best. Staff is super friendly and everything that I saw coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. Can order take out or eat in. Super clean restaurant and spacious, so you don't feel crowded. Average wait on take out is about 20 to 30 mnts, so call ahead."

"I have not yet found a Chinese restaurant with wonderful Egg Foo Young and this was yet another disappointment. I had the House Foo and it was dry and lacked flavor. The gravy was also flat. The rice was also tasteless as well as the Egg roll. The Egg roll seemed to be a deep fried California Roll. No thanks."
