"I'm a bit confused about why this place has good reviews. It's a fast food place. All the proteins in the food are pretty terrible. Couldn't even eat the fish or shrimp. Also the "hush puppies" don't have hot dogs in them, it's just a ball of fried cornmeal. Other people seemed to be enjoying their food. It is of note that everyone there was way past retirement age. As noted before, the place could use a good cleaning. Also the booths aren't bolted down so every time you move the whole booth moves too."

"I had the seafood dinner with rice and beans. The rice and beans seemed- very old, smelled very old. The service took a while, but it was probably dinner /rush -hour. But for seventeen bucks you all got to come better than that. ""

"Open late, food is always hot and fresh. Good deals. Can't beat the prices for milkshakes!(and they are GOOD) Boneless wings are juicy! Would recommend! The sweet&spicy sauce is the best! We make a special trip into downtown Sarasota especially for Gyros & Seafood Express, well worth it!"

"I visited again and tried a rice bowl. It was good with steak and shrimp. Not shure why the rice was greasy though. I look forward to coming again and trying something else. I've only been once and my fried shrimp was fresh and good. I also got a cheese steak which was good but would have been better with pepper which they don't seem to carry. Staff was friendly."

"Fried calamari had no flavor. Fish bowl with steak had a very small piece of fish and was not very good or flavorful. However, I did enjoy the shrimp Alfredo. I would recommend if you need something affordable."
