"A group of us, about 12, came here for lunch the other day. It was my personal first time visit. It has a bit of a diner or luncheonette type feel to it. I got the mofongo with shrimp simply because I'd never had it before. It was very good. I got a side of sweet plantains also delicious. Another person who got the same thing felt that the shrimp was a bit overcooked. Some of us liked our food better than others. Those that got the Cuban sandwich really liked theirs. One person got the salmon and really liked it. A few in our group got pastries which were absolutely delicious. We were a big group but service was very slow. Twas about an hour before we got our food. This is not an in and out joint. They served us water without ice which was very unusual. That's common in Europe but I don't often see it in the States. They didn't have iced tea, a very rare thing for a restaurant in the South. A very casual atmosphere. Staff was friendly."

"First time here and we loved it! I got the avocado toast with egg and my hubby ordered the omelette, both were delicious! I also ordered a guava cream cheese pastry and it was honestly the best pastry I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back!"

"I saw that these folks had a Cuban sandwich so I decided to give it a try. I stopped by after lunchtime and the restaurant was pretty quiet. It was very clean and tidy with music playing that I wasn't familiar with. I ordered the Cuban sandwich with fries and got a kiwi strawberry drink from the fridge. The meal came relatively quickly and it was pleasant in appearance. The sandwich and fries were both very tasty, enjoyable and fresh. I understand that with inflation that pricing is higher these days, but I've had Cubans from other places recently and paid around the same money for a larger sandwich, but I'm not turned off by that. I enjoyed my meal with a personable experience from the folks here. I would definitely be inclined to return and try other items from their menu."
