"My husband and I stopped in for lunch while traveling home. We opted for the buffet, as it looked very good, and was hot and ready. The fried chicken was delicious! I had green beans and Lima beans for my sides. They were both perfectly seasoned and cooked. The cornbread was also superb. My husband said his slaw was good. We will definitely put Eagle Lake Family Diner on our future stop list. Our server was Brittany, and she was friendly and efficient:-)"

"The food is served cafeteria style, which is good because you get to see what you are about to eat before ordering. However, the food is only mediocre, I am not saying I was not happy, but I can't rave about it. High point was the rice. So good. The service is fantastic. It is easy to tell that the servers really care about the customers. Overall, not a bad experience. I would eat there again, but it wouldn't be my first choice. If someone was like, "Hey, let's eat at Eagle Lake Diner." I would be like, "OK.""

"1st visit- Efficient seating in this local favorite, bright & clean, experienced waitstaff, prompt turnaround, good food & sweet tea! Those fried home fries (also available grilled) were crispy-great! Biscuits & gravy good, a little too peppery for me. Menu built into tabletop...I liked that idea!"
