"Absolute worst medical facility I have ever been to. The mammogram techs are rude and unprofessional. The techs did not read my chart correctly, nor did they handle the situation in a way that was respectful. I would give this facility zero stars if I could. They are not about patient care and you will be herded like cattle. I am appalled at how patients are treated here."
"My first time with this facility for my mammogram/DEXA scan went flawlessly. The staff I encountered were all pleasant and courteous, and I did not feel “like a number” as I had at a previous facility (unaffiliated). I will definitely be keeping this facility on my health care list."
"This is a joke place. I called Monday and I rescheduled my son speech evaluation appointment for Wednesday @8:30 it was a guy on the phone. I came today for my son evaluation the Lady at the front desk said my appointment at 11:00 am which is not true. All the calls are recorded they should listen to the conversation I had with guy. My husband didn’t go to work because of my son appointment we wasted our time and it was easy for them to reschedule the appointment. Do you think people don’t have nothing to do during the day. I want to mention something else this place is full of rude workers beside the attitude she has the front desk lady there was a lady who works for advent health with a badge changed the elevator because I went In with my son. The elevator was closed when I pushed the button the door opened again and I found three ladies work for advent health inside I just went Inside with my son she said to her friend she will have to take a different elevator and you can tell from her face she was uncomfortable. You won’t loose nothing if you smile to a patient. I should stop my son OTC appointments too as soon as possible."
"I awoke with excruciating pain in my lower right side and nausea. Concerned that I had appendicitis, I rushed to this emergency room. I was throwing up and the receptionist immediately handed me a vomit bag. It was the last time anyone did anything with urgency that night. I was burning up, and they never brought me an ice pack even though they said they would. I needed to pee, but was hooked up and couldn't get assistance to walk to a bathroom down the hall. I ended up peeing in the barf bag that the receptionist had handed me. My daughter had to take it, and the irritated nurse gave me another. The night was pure torture. My daughter also noticed that they were watching something of interest on their computer and laughing, and hated being bothered. A very young attractive doctor actually yelled at me for being "rude" to them because I had stood by the door and begged for assistance. It was determined that I had a kidney stone and a woman came and drew a crude illustration of where the stone was in relation to my bladder. Apparently, it was almost there...the difficult part was almost over. The next morning I was taken upstairs where a nurse and doctors pushed for me to have surgery to remove the stone. I was told it wasn't really a surgery, but had to be called that because you are put under anesthesia. I asked what the risks were and was assured that their weren't any. I was told that five other kidney stone surgeries were scheduled. (Apparently, everyone was doing it!) Fear tactics were also used, telling me that if I checked out and went home the pain would start again and I'd have to go through the entire process again enduring additional time and money. I must admit that they had me a bit scared. I told them that I was 95% sure that I was declining the surgery, but they continued to push for it. When it came down to it, I declined it. The nurse was annoyed and stated he was sorry they'd wasted my time. When I got home, I googled this surgery and found that a fairly high percentage of people have problems because of the stint used following the surgery. I'm a medical marijuana patient and used the marijuana that I had at home to help me pass the kidney stone. I was in far less pain than I was in the emergency room. Be cautious with their form of "upsell" and push for unnecessary surgeries. You are your best advocate. If I had known that it was only a kidney stone, I would have stayed home and vaped the thc/cbd. I only went because I woke up with the same symptoms as appendicitis. Do your research always."
"I took my husband to the emergency room. Yes is a good looking hospital but some nurses there are Rude, mean,& disrespectful. One specially named Sheila she don't care if the patient was sick she was rude to the patients. I thought when someone goes to the hospital you're supposed to make them feel better not this nurse."
