"The salmon was so tender it was almost indistinguishable from the avocado in the roll with it - it was incredible! Every roll we got was great. The lunch special is a good deal, too - $12 for miso and 2 basic rolls. The other rolls are all very reasonably priced."

"We came to Ahi Sushi after seeing its high reviews, and we weren't disappointed. The Yammi roll and Volcano Rolls were particularly good. The restaurant itself has a sort of "divey" feel that usually indicates a really good or really bad food experience, but we were pleasantly surprised at the delicious sushi and friendly staff. Note that the restaurant is rather small, so they probably can't accommodate large groups. It was also priced very reasonably. We paid around $100 (plus tip) for 5 people!"

"I have been back about 5 times now. It’s my go-to spot for fresh sushi in St Pete. The chef keeps the quality high and genuinely cares that his customers are happy. I’ve had a lot of of the sushi menu and everything is top notch. I would highly recommend. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and uniqueness. Definitely try one of the mango rolls!"

"This was the best sushi I have had in a long time. My husband just loves the fried rice. My daughters love the Ahi Sushi roll and the Tiger lily. We also had the Tuna Tataki, the spicy kani salad, the avocado salad and the Dynamite Roll everything was amazing. The ginger dressing was to die for I could drink it. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Thank You AHI Sushi for coming to downtown and being so affordable."

"Finally, downtown Saint Pete has amazing sushi! From fresh ingredients to service, AHI Sushi knocked if out of the park. We ordered some wonderful classics and also got the Love Me Salmon roll that was just the right combination of spice and flavor. The miso soup was better than any I’ve tasted. Daniel, the owner, was kind enough to talk to us about his extensive experience and shared some of his plans for the place. Beyond the premium ingredients and amazing taste, I liked the exclusively sushi and Japanese menu (no fusion here), the creative presentation, and late night hours. Not to mention the owner is the sushi chef. I’ve found my new regular spot and am thrilled to have this delicious new sushi option."
