"After an afternoon at the beach on a Saturday we were all hungry and found this great little spot that was off the beaten path (which is exactly what we were looking for) As someone who grew up in pizzerias in Brooklyn NY I found the atmosphere to be nostalgic, reminded me of my younger days, so I enjoyed it but the real reason I’m leaving a review is because of the pizza and service. Pizza was outstanding, little bit of sweet in the sauce and the the dough was perfect. We ordered multiple appetizers and 4 pizzas of different varieties. All were great! (my favorite was pepperoni, mushroom & olives) Very nice family running the place, we met three generations that night (we too were three generations from both sides) As business owners ourselves we understand the hard work and sacrifice that goes into owning your own establishment and I IMPLORE everyone reading this to go check them out and support a local, family owned, DELICIOUS pizzeria! My only complaint is we don’t live closer as this would be our go to spot. Thank You -The Gregory’s"
"The pizza was not bad, but it definitely has to be eaten hot for greater taste."
"Three of us found this nice family restaurant. Nonna’s interior is a combination of Italian images and family pictures. When you walk in you are greeted with authentic smells and music. There is a variety of seating, candidly the booth furniture is older, it’s been a while since they did an update, but that doesn’t deter you or question the cleanliness. We were greeted by Alex, who was very friendly. While the menu lacked the detail that the food deserved, Alex was helpful with her descriptions. She brought us complimentary garlic knots, sadly only two for the three of us. We ordered the white pizza, Chicken Piccata and a Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. We found the pizza well prepared, the crust a thin hand tossed with a good ratio of sauce to cheese and well seasoned. The chicken piccata was very tasty, clearly home made sauce that was delicious. A side of bread would have been a great compliment. Overall a good meal and I would recommend. With that said a few thoughts. We would’ve expected two pieces of chicken on the picatta plate, there was one, likely a sign of the times of food cost. We ordered a chicken Caesar and got a garden salad with chicken, a mistake but significant. While I love a family restaurant with good food, I’m reminded that often parents and grandparents forget that outside of the family, guests are there to relax and enjoy. Allowing a sock footed, table climbing child to run free and loud, is adorable to the family yet.. disturbing to guests. This isn’t something I found just here, and family bonds are important- just a thought to share."
"We had lunch here today and it was amazing. Thanks to Erina and her team making the best pizza that we have had in a long time. I learned that Erina is from Staten Island, NY and my husband grew up in Brooklyn. So we all know a thing or 2 about great NY pizza! Highly recommend!"
"We took my Father-in-law out to eat here while he was down on vacation. We got there pretty late and even thought they might have been closed by the time we got there. But we got lucky and they were still open and happily welcomed us when we walked in. They had pleasant Italian music playing and it had that typical "Italian feel" to it. By that I mean everyone was friendly and spoke to you like family. We ordered a pizza and garlic knots. They were both very good. Prices were fair and pretty average compared to similar places. We enjoyed ourselves and will return in the future. I definitely recommend giving it a try."
