"The good: waitress (Jen) was very attentive, nice, and prompt. She was the highlight. The okay: the food was okay, best part was the biscuits, which were soft and clearly homemade, otherwise things were just okay with a shell left in the egg The bad: after researching and reading reviews we were NOT prepared for the condition of this restaurant. It felt dirty before even walking in the door, the entire place could use a good cleaning. We sat outside because there is no way I would sit in those dingy booths. The outside area faced a canal, which was nice, but the outside needs updating as well. Things needed repainted and fixed. There was an empty sausage trash box just laying near our table. We will not be back unless it gets a much needed updating. It’s a shame because it has a good location, the food was okay and decently priced, it’s really a missed opportunity."

"We loved this beautiful cafe. When you think I’d love to go to a cafe for breakfast Longbeach Cafe is exactly what you want. Great little cafe atmosphere the staff were very welcoming and pleasant. I loved their selection from hot sauces. Food was exactly what I wanted simple, full of flavor, and I didn’t leave hungry. Will definitely enjoy a breakfast or two here when we return to LBK"

"I enjoyed my visit here. Menu has great options, food was on point! Location and environment was great. Staff... Not so much. Unfortunately quite cranky!! And though not rude to me, I watched one be very unnecessarily rude to another man asking for milk... From locals I was told the staff issue is not uncommon. Highly recommend a refresh. With that said, I'd love to return for the food when I return to the area."

"Tucked into a mall by Whitney beach, this is your diner for indoor seating or outdoor seating. Bring your dog and bring your kids bring your grandma. Daily specials. My plate was a BLT and my husband had the chili cheeseburger. Very filling. The servers were right on top of us from the time we sat down to when we left. Plenty of tea and attention —enjoyed reading the local newspaper while we waited for the grill guy to assemble our sandwiches. Busy—Many people came and went for takeout orders. It was too hot for us to sit outside, but there were several people who decided to take their dogs and sit out on the lovely patio."
