"We have been by this place a ton of times while driving over the bridge to Anna Maria Island and today we decided to stop in for lunch. You can arrive by car, with plenty of free parking or by boat with free two hour docking. Dining is either inside or outside. We sat outside along the water and it was lovely. They have umbrellas and sale shades for cover. The frozen beverages looked fantastic and cheap! We ordered the fish tacos, the coconut shrimp entree and hush puppies. The food came quick and was very very good. The prices are good, the service is good, the atmosphere is good and the food is good. You will not be disappointed with this place."
"Great place for lunch. I had the special which was a Greek salad with salmon. The salmon was so fresh. The potato salad was like mom’s homemade. The views were great. We got to see a family of dolphins while we ate."
"We made a wrong turn and ended up at The Seafood Shack. What a great find! The restaurant is right on the water with lots of interesting things woven into their decor. Our waitress, Jenny O, was very helpful with her recommendations. The blackened salmon and fish and chips were great and also reasonably priced. The key lime pie was made in house and was excellent!"
"Our first visit to the Seafood Shack and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Great flavors-food quality, great service from Lacey and a very cool “fishing village” atmosphere with views of the bay. We had the garlic-Parmesan wings as an appetizer and shared a bowl of clam chowder, as entrees we tried the Grouper taco’s (3 for $15) and Jerk Rib special with fries and pineapple slaw for $16. The prices for this delicious food are amazing compared to many restaurants on either side of the Cortez bridge or the barrier islands. Ask for Lacey to be your server, a brand new Mom who has worked there 4 years. Her personality, attention and service made our experience even better."
"If you're staying in Anna Maria Island or any of the surrounding areas this place is a MUST visit. Whether you're going just for drinks or for lunch/dinner - this place is THE spot. Solid drink specials and frozen daiquiris on a hot beach day are always a win. For their price those mango daiquiris were solid. The Mac & Cheese here is to die for! The blackened shrimp was also delicious. I'm a huge foodie and a bigger mac & cheese fan and I can promise you the mac & cheese here is easily in my top 5. That itself is a bold statement. Not a place you would expect some killer mac & cheese but holy cow was it delicious. Unbelievable! Great views (waterfront), delicious food, good drinks, and not expensive at all. Local gem and hidden spot."
