"This place was GREAT. We ordered the teriyaki wings with fries and a mushroom Swiss burger with onion rings . The food came out super quick, was hot and fresh and tasted great. Also had a Spiked Tea that was yummy! The prices are good and the service was amazing. Would definitely recommend coming here! I know we will be back!"

"American restaurant with lots of space. Outdoor seating with live band or indoor seating with music and telivision - your choice. Almost no vegetarian dinner options. They were willing to customise their chicken nachos by keeping the chicken on the side. The Sundae was yum! Staff friendly and pleasant"

"My coworkers and I went out after work tonight to celebrate my supervisor retiring, Jax is a popular place for us to go after work and we always have a wonderful time. It was a little chilly but we brought some dogs so we asked our server if the heater could be turned on because we had to sit outside. An employee named Chris, I asked her name later, came and asked if we were serious, that it was low 60s out and it cost money to use the gas to turn the heaters on. We barely ever get cold days in Florida and we wanted the warmth of a fire while we sat outside, it was incredibly rude and we were all shocked that she was so aggressive and acting like our request was outlandish. Other than her attitude we had a great time, our server, Betsy, was an absolute sweetheart. She was so nice and really saved what could have been a lackluster outing tarnished by someone trying to make fun of us for wanting a heater on. TLDR: Jax is great, the fries are good, don’t ask Chris for anything and Betsy is a very kind server."

"Been visiting on and off for years. Recently started visiting again after being away for several years-have been 3 times in the last month. Wings are very good. Burgers are very good. Prices are very reasonable. Minimal staff, so it isn't exactly speedy service. Of course, who doesn't struggle with staffing in the food industry? Atmosphere could use some spritzing up/deep cleaning/maintenance (is periodic deep cleaning even a thing anymore anywhere?) Bingo night is very popular, as we found out unexpectedly the other night when we popped in for a bite. Next time we may plan to be there on time and join in. Pretty healthy cash prizes and a very good bingo caller/host. Overall, 4 out of 5. Just remember it's a private place, not a chain. To me that's a plus, but your mileage may vary."
