Torchy's Tacos

"Went here for the first time last Thursday after shopping at the Marshall’s in the same plaza. I didn’t know what to except but I was very impressed with not only the customer service but also the extensive menu and flavor of the food! The cashier girl was very helpful and she even got the manager for me to explain the vegetarian options in detail. The food definitely torched my tongue but in the best way! Very flavorful with a good kick! All the employees are very attentive and polite which goes a long way and adds to the experience! I’ll definitely be back soon and I’m bringing friends and family!"

"First time, and what a memorable experience! Ordered two vegetarian options, the Migas breakfast taco with corn tortilla and the Fried Avocado Taco with the flour tortilla. Even though the place was full it wasn't a long wait and they brought the food to my table. The Migas is by far the best breakfast taco I've ever enjoyed! The Fried Avocado was delicious, especially with the sauce that came with it. I'm sitting here wishing I had ordered more! If you are vegetarian, I highly recommend you try this place out."

"I think this would be the best lunch vibe. We went on a Friday or Saturday evening and it was absolutely packed. The food was great but $6-7 for one taco is a little steep. The food will definitely bring us back. Hopefully they can expand into a bigger building because that would make the experience a lot better!"

"We've waited months for this place to open! The service was fast & the crew was amazing. The taste of food is good but not excellent! The portion is too small for the price! I can pay less at Qdoba and get more food! I paid $30 for 1 breakfast taco, one beef brisket taco, one burrito with extra rice & a small bowl of street Mexican corn plus 2 fountain drinks! I would give their flavored teas 5 stars but I'm sorry the whole experience is not worth it!! :( :("

"We had Torchy’s on our last trip to Austin, was excited to see one open here. We went on opening night. Food was pretty good and service moved quick for being brand new. The queso is a must have and salsa is also amazing. Street corn we’ll pass on next time. The tacos were good but did seem like they might have sat under the heat lamp slightly longer than they should have. All in all, very good and excited to give it a try on a less crazy night!"
