Gram's Kitchen

"I regret to share a deeply disappointing experience my parents had at Gram’s Kitchen. Despite being seated promptly and served drinks, the waitress blatantly ignored them when it came to taking their food order. Shockingly, other patrons were served while my parents were left waiting for over 15 minutes. The stark contrast in treatment was not only disheartening but also unacceptable. This incident reflects a disturbing lack of customer service . Unfortunately, my parents chose to leave. It is disheartening to witness such behavior in a supposedly welcoming establishment. I hope this review encourages a reconsideration of customer service practices at Gram’s Kitchen. Update: Spoke with Missy(manager). She was very apologetic and nice. She even reviewed the camera footage. She explained that the server was working a party of 6 in back room. I do think the server should have communicated the potential delay to my parents. Missy did offer to comp my parents meal should they choose to return. So I appreciate Missy’s professionalism."

"Gram's is a great diner for breakfast and lunch. Their Reuben sandwich is great. It has the right amount of corn beef and grilled rye bread. The omelet was good, too. We had friendly service, and they played 50's rock n roll music."

"Me and my family traveled to Orange City for the day from Georgia and tried this cafe. It was so good!! I will definitely be going back next time I am down there. Our waitress was attentive and the service was quick. Food was very good and fresh!"

"I will definitely say that this was a good experience, even with the lunch rush crowd! Service was awesome, the waitress was so nice and very attentive. The atmosphere was great as well, you can tell it’s definitely a local hangout. The food was good and came out quickly. My husband had the Southwestern burger, which he thoroughly enjoyed! He said the fries were not his favorite, but I enjoyed the fries. I had the chicken tenders to share with my one year old son and they were decent, hot and crisp. The only part of my meal that I didn’t really enjoy was the macaroni and cheese. It was a very thin cheese sauce on top and the noodles stuck together so it was just on giant noodle clump with a little cheese taste. But if that was the worst part of my experience, then I’ll take it! Overall, highly recommend and if I’m in the area again I might go for some of the delicious looking pancakes I saw coming out of the kitchen!"

"Absolutely delicious. My daughter and I had lunch together a couple of days ago. My daughter ordered the Biker's Special and I ordered the Club. Both were fresh, well prepared with generous portions. Our server was excellent. Clean, organized, calm, friendly atmosphere. Very impressed. We will return. Thank you Gram's!"
