"My family has lived in the neighborhood behind pit boss for about 30 years so I grew up smelling BBQ everyday day . The aroma outside smells amazing - the food doesn’t disappoint! Ribs or pulled pork are my usuals,I’ve never had a bad meal here!"

"Service was good, food was just ok. Ribs were tiny but very tender and the collard greens had zero flavor. The baked beans were sweet and bland, but topped with chopped pork which was nice. I wanted to love it being a local BBQ joint, but overall I just wasn’t impressed."

"My heart is broken. Haven't been to my favorite BBQ joint in over a decade. The ribs were small and chewy. I could shake the garlic powder off my Texas toast, and they changed the sauce! The waitress was awesome, I wanted for nothing ... And I didn't ask her why 4 bones, beans, and an ear of corn was $22! As sad as it makes me, I won't be back. I will hold on to the memories of those GIANT ribs, and that unique, savory, dark, sweet sauce. At least the Chocolate Fudge pie was still killer ... @over $6 a slice! I was puzzled why the place was so empty on a weekend night ... Now I know."
