Varsity Club Sports Bar Trinity

"Went with a group of friends and family for lunch today (January 27, 2024). First impression: as a few of us are handicapped, I noticed that there are no handicapped parking spaces near the front door. The handicapped parking spots are at the back of the building. We got a table right away for our group. Our server was super attentive and did a great job. Overall, the food was pretty good. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap and chose to have the "hot" Buffalo sauce on it. It was not hot at all, and I could barely distinguish any "Buffalo" taste at all. Despite that, it was still good. If it tasted like a hot Buffalo chicken wrap, I would have given 5 stars. We ordered 2 appetizers for the table, fried pickles, and fried mushrooms (recommended by a friend who wasn't able to join us today). The fried pickles were a big hit, the fried mushrooms not so much. This was my first time eating at Varsity Club ( years ago, I ate at this location when it was Alligators). Overall, we had a good time, and I would definitely eat here again."

"Our server was incredible! I wish I could remember her name, but I asked her to choose my meal and she surprised me with fish and chips. It had Cole Slaw as a side. My Dad's favorite side. He passed several years ago and I had been missing him all day. She brought me cole slaw. Made my ❤️ happy."

"1st visit today to this hometown Cheers style bar/restaurant. I eat out a lot & have seen the significant staff shortages. Well the service here was EXCEPTIONAL 10/10! So happy to have friendly & knowledgable Morgan as our server to answer all of our questions. This was particularly helpful in describing the differences in the wing sauces. Speaking of wings, they were as good as their reputation purports! Loved getting them naked with sauces on the side, "hot garlic" was my favorite. With $2.50 HH cold draft pints too, the meal hit a grand slam! Look forward to going back to try more on the menu!"

"Would have given more stars but our service this evening was horrible. We have come here numerous times when the establishment has been slam packed busy and received better service. This evening it was not. Our waitress only took our food and drink Orders and brought us our drinks other than that a different waitress brought out our appetizers and our food. Half the time our cups were empty. We were only offered one refill. Food was good though."

"Loved the cheese curds, most authentic Wisconsin curds around.. great burger and good prices.. had good specials during the lighting game. Recommend, good service and food."
