"We had 10 family in from all parts of the US for our Mothers 94th Birthday. The food was excellent! Most of us had the trout special.... Super good and fresh. Our Server Kenzie was both attentive and patient. Kat was wonderful greeter and reminded us about dessert fudge. We finished our meal, got some sweets and surveyed some excellent local art. This is a good place!"

"We enjoyed our lunch, but the best thing was the atmosphere. We ate outside in the “secret garden” with beautiful flowers and various plants. You can feed the turtles and fish, just not the alligators. We did not see any alligators, lol!! Thank you Kayla for the great service."

"We went to the Silver dolphin for breakfast. It was very good. We had the Melissa honey bun pancakes. They were delicious. I love being able to sit outside and look at all the wildlife and the turtles and the fish. They even have it so you could be the fish while you’re there. The staff was very friendly and it’s a really eclectic place to go. We will come back and try it again."

"On our way home from visiting the Crystal River Archaeological State Park, we took a detour to Hernando Beach to visit a restaurant recommended by the newsletter “Only in Your State”. The detour was worth it. The restaurant was excellent value for money. We ate in the indoor dining room as the weather was threatening rain, but we’ll be back to eat on the very pretty patio next to the canal. The food was delicious. We started with a Spinach and Artichoke Dip served with green, red and regular color Tortilla chips, then followed with Delicious Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, baked beans and a side salad for my wife and a Grilled Hamburger Steak topped with sauteed onions and beef gravy with baked beans and french fries for me. Service from Alyssa M was great. We complemented the meal with a glass of house wine each. The total bill before tip was $61.71. Great value for money."
