"Great atmosphere and terrific service. The drinks are also creative and well balanced with a nice presentation. The food was not quite as I hoped though. Guac was fresh, but lacked the full flavor I hoped for. Maybe a quarter squeeze more of lime with touch of fresh salsa would have won me over. The salads are the same theme as the guac. Overall just a salad with no real fanfare like the drinks have. The egg rolls on the pu-pu appetizer were cooked perfectly and the side of sauces nice. So kudos there. The beef and ribs on the pu-pu appetizer both could have been a bit more tender. The flavor was there but the tenderness a miss. Maybe a tad more prep time to get the tenseness those meats deserve would have been an extra star. Overall. While the food fell short of expectations, the place is fun with a good vibe. It's worth stopping in to relax and enjoy some fruity and sweet alcohol drinks served by a well trained and friendly staff."

"One of my favorite spots based on both food and atmosphere. If you come in October, they have the best Halloween decorations. This restaurant is walkable from downtown Dunedin. The food options offer some unique choices and flavors. The cocktails are amazing! Whether seated inside or in the Tiki Bar, you will have a nice time."

"A marvelous little gem in Dunedin! The cocktails were executed splendidly with quality ingredients and balance. The food was fresh, bright, and well balanced. The atmosphere was perfectly balanced between cheesy and genuine and the music was chill and just the right volume. All around an incredible experience, we would definitely visit again and again if we visit this part of Florida again."

"We are here visiting Florida, and wanted a quick bite, we had our two dogs with us (Golden Retriever and GoldenDoodle). So we were looking for a dog friendly outdoor restaurant and we stumbled upon The Honu. It was a great dining experience, excellent food for my husband and I, plus they have great specialty drinks! The pups had a great time too with each of them getting their own water bowl, and there’s a doggy menu with great choices. The ambience is very relaxing the indoor decor super unique and fun. The customer service was top notch, and welcoming. We purchased one of their specialty cups and when we told them we were visiting from out of State they made us a personalized bag to place the souvenir in. During our stay in Florida we will definitely be coming back here!"

"We drove from central Florida to enjoy The Honu! Pet Friendly outside! but you do miss a LOT of theming. The staff today was friendly and attentive. Great drinks, and love the dog menu! our food was mediocre at best. Thanks for a fun experience though to dine with our pup"
