"Myself and two gal pals had lunch here today after hiking in Paynes Prairie Preserve. The sandwiches were all great! Hit the spot! Will definitely be back next time we're in the area. "We had passed signs for Micanopy on our travels around Florida and decided to stop in and go to the Old Florida Cafe. It was so relaxing after driving for a while. The town is beautiful and the restaurant is a great place to eat. They have sandwiches and comfort food, along with fresh brewed coffees and homemade desserts. Everyone is very friendly and the prices are fair."

"The Reubens and grilled cheese were very good, however, some of the meat was tough and extremely chewy. The coleslaw was fantastic, and my lunch companions enjoyed their sides of rice and beans. My tea was brewed, but my 2 guests had a can of diet coke and a water. For 3 of us, Including tip, it was just shy of 60.00. I'm giving it 5 stars because the service was fast, and the food was tasty."

"A wonderful lunch experience on a beautiful Saturday. We enjoyed the Cuban sandwich and the Reuben Sandwich with delicious banana pudding. The atmosphere was exactly what we wanted with outdoor patio seating. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. We definitely plan to return."
