"The meat looked old and not appetizing the food tasted good like any other subway but it’s the look the service of the girl working there sounded fairly sassy"
"Manager rude, went in at 8:30 and everything was put up, we ordered sandwiches. We went to sit down at 8:45 to eat real quick and he told us we couldn’t even though the business was still open. We won’t ever spend money there again!"
"My husband and I stopped into this subway last night around 8:25. We were greeted by a glare from the subway worker. She continued to look up and glare at us while making our sandwiches. After cashing out, we grabbed our cups and headed to the fountain machine to get our drinks. Before we even got to the soda machine, she turned the lights in the building off. We had to fill our cups and put on the lids in darkness."
"I like subway because they have healthy options which is rare when your talking about fast food. The place has recently been updated, which is nice and its always clean. The only bad thing that i can mention is the owner Neal. He works there and always has a, "i hate the world" kind of attitude. He always acts like your bothering him when you ask him a question. The lady ahead of me asked to use a coupon and he rolled his eyes and said yes we take it and grumbled something under his breath. I thought this was so rude especially since she's in her 80's and a total sweetheart. She noticed that he wasn't very happy with her and she decided not to use the coupon. As this was happening, he got the biggest smile on his face. The poor thing had to count out change because she didn't have enough. While this was all taking place, he's pulled back her cup and said just don't get a drink. I couldn't watch this anymore and stepped in to pay what she couldn't. He embarrassed the poor thing for less than 20 cents. After i payed I walked out as did the family behind me in line. Like I said, I like Subway but I'll drive to the one in Old Town from now on."
"I don’t know why this place isn’t 5 stars all the way. I had to ask where I was just to write this review. I have all but given up on subway because so many I go to are so poorly managed and have some of the rudest workers. In our current times, eating places are swarmed with people who don’t want to work / lack basic hygiene let alone having work ethic. From the outside it looks like your small town hole in the wall place to eat. The town is so interesting because the public library is right next to it and it is in a shopping center. (Forgot to take pics so google) When I walked up to the counter, it was immaculate. One thing that I instantly noticed was the culinary precision of the ingredients. It looked like a picture / display case. Then I noticed how carefully each portion of cut meats (like chicken and steak) displayed with true food network display. I’m assuming the owner waited on me because he was so meek and grateful when I kept saying how nice it looked. A huge game changer subway indicator if excellence is if the paper that they toast your sandwich gets changed out BEFORE they wrap your sandwich and put it in the bag. It is the finesse that means “my customers matter.” When I sat down and unwrapped, my sandwich was completely whole because the proportions were right. The places I have to go locally are always too much of something and I end up either wearing my sandwich or reconstructing it to fit proportions. Hands down the most by the book and best display of owner integrity for the company and most of all his customer community that I’ve seen in 10 + years. The business world could definitely come here to study how to be excellent business owners."
