"completely unprepared people, my child came home several times with injuries that were not reported, unprofessional, rude and impolite people, the owner Allen Holmes Baker is a person unprepared to deal with young children, very rude when dealing with parents, Now, can you imagine with small children? He has impulsive behavior that doesn't match someone who runs a daycare center, he charges for payments that have already been made almost every day, he only cares about the money, I think he should go back cut some grass, DON'T HAVE YOUR CHILD BEING CARE OF BY THESE PEOPLE, and they had a worker arrested for hurt a 2 year old, just google it"
"Is negative stars an option?? This is the absolute worst/most unprofessional business I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The owners are too impulsive to work with children. They are money-hungry and that is their only focus, not the children. Their communications to the the parents/families are unprofessional."
"This place is awful. 195 for a 1 year old and pizza on Friday. When you approach the building it looks dilapidated with broken leaning fencing. You cannot see into your child's classroom from outside ( I understand the need to protect the children from prying eyes but it's difficult to drop off when you have no idea if the teacher is even in the assigned room for drop off). You cannot enter without them opening the door so I would hear my child crying every time I picked her up and couldn't console her until they would let me in. My daughter was returned to me filthy. One sock caked in dirt. Her face crusty from lunch and snack. Outfits stained beyond washing. My daughter was there about 2 months in that time was sick all but about a week. After her first week she had to be kept home over 3 days due to fever. They use your wipes like I've never experienced. This was my 3rd child. I know you shouldn't have gone through an entire pack in 3 days especially when you return her in the afternoon in the worst shape I've ever seen. She developed a yeast infection so awful it took nearly the last week and a half staying home to clear. Today was her first day at her new care center and the difference was night and day. She returned happy, clean and with a huge smile on her face."
"I wouldn't suggest anyone send their kids here unless they can talk. Many of the small kids are neglected and made to sit in the tables for long periods of time to the point they fall asleep in them, which they leave them there instead of laying them down. They use towels not blankets, which they cover up the kids' entire body with. They've ignored kids multiple times when they obviously need someone. They also lack basic communication and multiple occasions have sent messages after drop off asking all parents to come back to pick their child up not even an hour later. (That could be understandable because things happen but not when it happens every other week). Which is extremely inconvenient when you have to work. No one puts their child in daycare to be neglected and ignored by people that WORK in childcare."
"Mini Milestones Childcare Academy is a fun-loving, family oriented facility! I love working here, it is more like home than a "job." To put previous reviews to rest, no, our children do not get cold meals and snacks all day. We have microwaves and we heat up food regularly for children that bring warm lunches. In fact, we even provide a lunch and two healthy snacks to children that do not bring lunch! This daycare was opened in the middle of a pandemic so you can appreciate that we, just like the rest of the world, have all had to try to wrap our heads around something that NOBODY has dealt with before. We are constantly being told to do things and then they change weekly and sometimes hourly. Our parents have all been so great at following our requests and dealing with the changes that we have had to make. The CDC and DCF website, at the time of this previous comment, both said that children should bring their own lunches. Lunchboxes were not allowed in the building, Ziploc bags were. On top of that, our kitchen was simply too small to accommodate making that many lunches. We have not had any other complaints about the fact that we have stopped providing lunches, I guess this isn't such a hassle to the rest of our families that join everyday."
