"So many different comfort foods, I was impressed! Some things you could tell were made “from scratch” and some things you know were from a bulk supplier or cans. The mashed potatoes were powdered, but I think on the weekends they make them the real way. The okra was from a can- again, not fresh but it still tasted great. If you want everything a small town “southern meat & three” style restaurant with endless buffet options and a plethora of desserts…this is the best place!"
"Food was great!!! I got super stuffed... I was highly impressed with the options they had... everything I had was cooked to perfection... this place not only impressed me but was decently priced... place was clean... people were friendly... I felt at home... 10 star buffet... I definitely HIGHLY recommend this place if your in Panama!!!"
"Good Home Cooking Buffet at an affordable price... Plus, breakfast served all day. Also Affordable. Some refer to these as 'Gum and Chew' locations due to large number of elderly patrons. The fact is, these older people know quality and value. Breakfast Buffet Sat $13.95 Lunch Buffet $15 or $11.95 Blue plate"
"Old country food. I love how the gravy was burnt and how the corn was strongly salted. Look at these great photos! The bread pudding was just like my grandma made it. Burnt. The Pecan pie was to die for.Its was so homemade granny Cantrell didn't even wear a hair net and left us a nice present. The chicken dumping soup reminded me of home cooked meals with bones and all! I love how they didn't add any season to the food. It's just like they had it in the great depression! There's even a nice hole in the ceiling of you can view the electrical. How thoughtful. This place is like a portal into the depression before they had health code or flavor. You may say " well, you don't like country food bless your little heart" I have grown up in the south and this is anything but southern food."
