"Crowded at lunch time but it clears out quickly. They have a rotating menu so you have to pick from what they have for that day. Fried chicken was good, corn bread was dry. beautiful scenic view though not on the coast."

"Would not recommend, at least, not for breakfast. My breakfast potatoes (home fries) were reheated in a microwave, cheese grits were more cheese than grits, sausage links were gross and old, only thing edible was the eggs and toast. My wife's biscuits and gravy looked like they were disintegrating, truly gross. There was no military discount, and the lady at the register was rude. Coffee is not great, a little watered down. We usually have a rule, that we avoid places that serve Pepsi products, and today we were reminded why. I also find it distasteful when you sell your blank spaces for advertisement, like their tables. The server was nice."

"Stumbled across this place driving the scenic route of Hwy 98 on the Gulf Coast. Homey and inviting, plenty of parking, obviously a hit with the locals and tourists alike. Huge portions and great prices. Daily menus of meat and three, and homemade desserts. If you like old style comfort soul food, this is your place!"
