Excel Medical Imaging

"I do not recommend Excel Medical Imaging in New Port Richey. I had a routine ultra sound in November 2023. Two days later, they called me and said that I needed to return to re perform the ultra sound “At no cost to you”. They did not tell me why and I didn’t ask. I did what they asked. I then get an invoice in the mail that I needed to pay the co pay ASAP. I called their customer service number and it was in another country according to the accents and the call center noise on the phone. They said they would fix it. I continued getting more urgent invoices asking for the co pay. I called the customer service several times and they said they took care of the problem and were very apologetic. I thought all was well UNTIL………They did not take care of the problem and are threatening to send my invoice to collections. THIS IS YOUR FINAL NOTICE. RESPOND TO THIS COLLECTION NOTICE TODAY. Excel Medical imaging has received two identical payments from my insurance company and now I’m going to have to pay this to keep my credit score from plummeting. Just Stay Away."

"I do not recommend this place. They canceled my appointment once I signed in due to the simple fact that I had to bring a child with me. Instead of working with me, tell me I had to reschedule I'll find a new place to go to cuz sometimes you don't have a sitter & sometimes you are the sitter. I feel sorry for the mamas that really have nobody to help them."

"Scheduling was easy, staff was nice, however I have had several testes performed at excel imaging and the report time is absolutely poor. Every test I have had it has taken 7 - 10 days to do the report, this is unacceptable. I would have continued using them if the reports were done in a timely manner. It is unfortunate. I hope someday they improve on getting reports completed in a reasonable time."

"Went with my mom to drive for her scan that she had done. The ladies in the office were very pleasant. They also called her back quickly even though she was early. They seemed nice, quick, and thorough. She was also pleased with her visit. Other than wishing her insurance covered the scan's price better. Hopefully the doctor's follow up will go as nice."
