Joe's Crab Shack

"Honestly the place is a little much. It's over stimulating even in the middle of the day with no one there. We went for my daughter's birthday because it's what she wanted. You're paying for the name for sure. The prices are insane. The portions are small. The sides are pretty bland. I wouldn't have stayed once I saw the prices had it been a normal family outing. Our server was kind enough. I inquired about birthday specials or songs and was pretty much blown off after being told they used to do all kinds of fun things but due complaints now they just sing. We had 3 meals ( 1 lobster tail meal, one crab bucket, one steak dinner) and 2 appetizers and spent just shy of 200 Dollars. There are so many more affordable places with better food in the area I honestly wouldn't waste my time. It's no wonder these things are going out of business."

"Fast service and good food! Got two crab buckets, a kids chicken strips and a steak plate. All was tasty, came out hot, and came out fast. Bathrooms where clean, no wait to be seated."

"Always a great experience. Queen crab buckets were delicious, our server Ericka was amazing and gave us a great suggestion for an appetizer. The manager on duty Lynn came and checked on us multiple times. Always my daughters first choice to eat when we go to Destin, worth the drive and money!"

"Very busy, about an hr wait as anticipated. Toys outside saved us with the kid! Food was ok but wait staff was clearly overwhelmed. Our waitress did a great job at keeping us happy."
