"My 1 year old had been in their toddler 1 room for 2 weeks (7 days actually). We dropped. I would say this is the first daycare we attend. AND THE WORST. My daughter was lying on the ground crying for half an hour on the second day. The teacher just walk across her again and again. NEVER comfort her or hold her. I know children would get sick when they go to dc, but dc itself should do what they should do to keep them healthy. During these 7 days, the teacher only get the toddlers wash their hands ONCE when a leadership member was in that room. Toddlers were NEVER offered water even we asked. Food are not good (not a big deal compared to other things). During these 7 days, Toddlers were involved in circle time ONLY ONCE by the same leadership member. Teachers seldom teach anything (play bubble and draw once guided by one teacher). The toddlers play by themselves or just be seated around the table doing nothing (it could be one hour). This dc could only keep your toddler alive. Don’t deserve anything else. I’m new to Pensacola. Hope other dc here are not like this."

"My son has attended La Petite for over 6 months now and I could not be more pleased with the school. He started in the Toddler room and has moved up to the Twos. We pulled him from his previous daycare due to some very serious concerns. I discussed these concerns with Ms. Angela (the director) and she was absolutely amazing. She was able to get my son in to La Petite that day. One of the major concerns from the previous daycare was an issue with naptime. Ms. Angela explained the situation to my son's teachers and they were all very understanding and did everything they could to make naptime a pleasant experience. They were very thoughtful about his transition from the Toddler room to the Twos as well. In addition, Ms. Angela and Ms. Dana (my son's current teacher) were extremely helpful with getting my son to stop using his pacifier. I feel that the teachers really team with the parents to provide the best possible experience for the children. Also, the school has an open door policy so parents are welcome in the classrooms at any time. This was not the case with my previous daycare and based on my son's experience there, please use caution if sending your children to any school/daycare that does not have an open door policy. As far as education and the curriculum, my son learns something new every day! He knows his shapes, numbers, is learning the alphabet, is working on potty training, plays outside, does some kind of art project daily, has wonderful social skills and talks about his friends at school all the time. The school is clean and comfortable, the children are the top priority and above all, I completely trust everyone there with my son."

"La Petite is amazing. I'm a first time mom and was very nervous about daycare. Angela runs that school so well and packs it with the best teachers. I am thrilled with how my child is learning and developing from attending. She always has a smile on her face when I pick her up and is excited to see her teachers each morning! The teachers are wonderful and really take note of how each child learns and processes information. On our first day, without me saying anything, they noted that my child really loves books and anything that rattles. It made me feel wonderful knowing they actually engage and interact with the children. La petite is worth every penny and so much more!"

"La Petite Academy is wonderful! All the teachers and staff are very nice and friendly! They always give us a warm welcome when we walk in the door and also when leaving. They made the transition to a "new school" for my son very easy. We have been there just over 6 months or so… They have a nice, safe park for the kids, and separate classrooms for each age group. The hand outs we get each month are amazing! They really keep you updated on events. etc. . Over all we looove La Petite and look forward to being there for years to come."

"La Petite is the best child care center in Pensacola! My wife and I tried a few daycares and we weren't happy with any of our experiences. Being at La Petite has been amazing! The staff are always happy, friendly and energetic. When we pick up our son the teachers always tell us what fun things he did for the day and they always have his daily logs updated. The facility is always bright and clean. The administrator Barbara always greets everyone who comes in the door and I feel that our son isn't just a number to her, he is very important to her and to her staff. If you aren't using La Petite for childcare, you are missing out!!!"
