Baptist Medical Park - Pace

"My experience today at Baptist Medical Park in Pace was positive. It was my first visit and I was a walk in for labs. It was late morning so I had about 10 people ahead of me but I thought the system and wait was relatively quick and easy. The phlebotomist Rachel was very efficient, kind as well as gentle. She was very good at her job and made it a painless task. The building was clean with plenty of seats for waiting."

"At Baptist 9 Mile, you have to check in at Registration. Then, wait to be called to be registered. Then, go to whatever service (Xray, women’s imaging) you need and check in there. Checking in 3 times is ridiculous. This is a recent change. Used to go to check in at whatever service you need and that was it."

"I would give this place 0 stars. This would be the second time this month that the lady that works in the lab has messed up on my daughters blood work, not to mention how on our last visit on monday she tells me the bloodwork voucher my doctor gave me is not valid and they should “know better than to send me in here with that.” I have to call the doctors office and have them fax it themselves, 20 minutes goes by and the lady comes back out and she proceeds to tell me they no longer take her insurance since june. Crazy because we got her blood work done on October 16th with no issues, when i ask how they don’t take her insurance if i was just here three weeks ago for the same thing, she got very rude with me and telling me she doesn’t know what happened, nobody must’ve checked her insurance. She then tells me they will do it because they messed up last time but i can’t come here again for her blood work i will have to go somewhere else. At this point i’m frustrated, so i ask again if she can tell me why they didn’t check her insurance instead of being rude with me. She then gets an attitude responding with “They messed up i don’t know what else you want me to tell you” i then respond to her that i was just asking and she responds back laughing “and i was just telling you.” at this point i’m no longer in the mood to speak to her since she obviously has no kind of communication skills or decency to speak to me without having an attitude. Today i get a call saying she took the blood in the wrong tube and that they aren’t able to test her blood because there isn’t enough to test. Mind you this is the second time they messed up on her blood work. The first time they sent it off without even checking it for lead(the whole reason we got the bloodwork in the first place) So today i had to take my one year old daughter to get her blood drawn for now a third time but this time i went to a different location because these ladies obviously lack proper training for the position as well as the ability to be professional. Unfortunately i did not get the ladies name before i left but with this being said i would HIGHLY recommend going to another location for your blood work. Extremely childish and unprofessional to be a Baptist Health Care facility. 0/10"

"would give zero stars but i cant. Not gonna lie this place is awful theres very few nice ppl. everyone but one lady is nice that works at the lab. everyone else that works at the lab is very rude to me cus i have to go in a-lot due to thyroid problems. then the Obgyn dont even get me started. i honestly never cried so much in my life when i left that place...the lady that does x-rays sucks and legit calls people liars... Dont reccomend this place.wouldnt take a dead animal here."

"Disabled Veteran receiving care @ Baptist for years under contract with VA. Go to Baptist Pace Lab for pre-surg blood draw and within 30 seconds I get to deal with a Gestapo style Phlebotomy Tech. I took my paperwork and ID and left. Atrocious, unprofessional attitude. Blown away by this encounter. Furious and Frustrated."
