"Updated review January 2024-very much enjoyed my trip back to Tacky Jacks. We had crab cakes, crab claws and the grouper sandwich. All still very good. January 2023-For no reason what so ever I have avoided this place. I am happy to say I gave them a try after bringing my nieces to one of their arts and craft events. We had the pleasure of eating outside, nice seating with beautiful views. Crab claws, crab cakes and grouper were great. We went back a week later and had another great experience. Friendly staff. This place is a new favorite."
"I was only there for drinks. I did pay !25 for two mixed drinks, which felt like hotel bar charges. Staff were super sweet. Atmosphere is great. They’re in a great location, and have adequate parking."
"What a great place for breakfast! From Shrimp and cheese grits, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and a piece of ham. Food was hot and delicious. Must try if your in Orange Beach!! Service was great from waitress as well!"
"Nice breakfast spot with indoor and outdoor seating right on the Gulf. We went for brunch. The food was good BUT the cheese grits should come with a warning label! I ordered a side of cheese grits. When delivered they had a red-orange tint. Unexpectedly, they were SPICY! We inquired and were told the cheese grits are made with cheese and hot sauce. This should definitely be disclosed, especially in the South! On another note, the mimosas were great and can be made with OJ, pineapple juice, or cranberry juice."
"We took the boys here for lunch, and it was great! The boys got the grilled cheese sandwiches with fries, and my wife and I both got the fire cracker shrimp poboys. All the food was delicious. The atmosphere is fun too, the restaurant multilevel and painted bright colors. Oh, and the bushwacker cocktails were very good."
