"I was shopping around and stumbled across this shop, looks like a family owned and small operational shop. I must say the attention to detail is there. I was coming in for just a color match for my front spoiler on the bumper and Kevin matched the color to the car perfectly. the install was flawless. I would recommend this shop to anyone. I will let the pics speak for the work itself."
"Lam and his son, Kevin, did a great job at restoring my hood as well as paint matching both my fenders and mirrors. Kevin also recommended exposing some of the carbon on my hood, in which was a great touch. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my vehicles! 5/5 stars"
"I had a great experience with Lam's Body Shop and highly recommend them!. Here is my story. I have a 2008 Lexus GX470 that was cursed with a common Lexus/Toyota issue of the Blizzard Pearl paint not adhering to the body after exposure to the sun for long periods. When I purchased the vehicle earlier this year it was touched up, but basically all painted, rough in some spots, but hey, a 15 year old vehicle so to be expected. As the warm weather hit and it soaked in lots of UV rays from the sun, the paint just started to peel all over and I started to think I was going to have a bare metal thing driving down the road before too long. Lexus had a program to repaint vehicles affected by this, but it expired a bit over a year age. When I took it to the Lexus dealer I was informed that the program has expired and for them to do it for me would cost more than what I paid for it. In this day and age, where new cars are so expensive and people are choosing to hold onto their cars for much longer, plus this particular has an engine that is known as one that, with proper maintenance, can last a very long time, so I feel like I have many years of enjoying this truck. So, it seemed like worthwhile to invest in getting it painted, but not at the quoted price I got from the dealer. I asked my son, who is a car mechanic and has many friends who are car enthusiasts. He had a friend who had a positive experience at Lam's and recommended him to me. I spoke with them over the phone and Kevin gave me a rough idea of the cost. I then sent them some pictures and finally took the vehicle over for a look. Kevin gave me a quote much less than the dealer and one that fit within my budget. He clearly explained to me beyond the paint and labor that because the vehicle is pretty old the molding might all need to be replaced, so showed me what that would cost range depending if he could save any of the existing window molding. So, I knew exactly what I was facing in terms of price. He told me how long he would need the vehicle in order to get it all done. We arranged a time and I left the car with him, knowing I would be without it for a number of weeks. Throughout the process he kept me informed and sent me pictures and videos of the work to strip off the old paint. With the defective paint a very important part is that it all needs to be removed, otherwise it will just peel again from under the new paint. I also near the end asked him if he could paint all the chrome parts a flat black to give it a more updated look. He told me what that would cost in addition and did that for me as well. I a beyond pleased with the results and feel like I am driving around in a brand new vehicle. Even from the inside while driving, while I really cannot see the new paint, it just feels fresh and new. I think it just looks so well done. When you look at the before and after pictures, you can see what a difference this is. I also included a couple of photos of the work done to remove the old, bad paint. I was told the roof alone took about a day of work. So, it was a lot of effort that I truly appreciate more than these few words can express. So, while I did not get any body work done, I can attest the quality of the paint work, the attention to detail, how easy it was to work with them and how great the communication was throughout the process that I feel confident in stating that Lam's Body Shop is a quality place to take your vehicle for body work."
