"We’ve been with Excel Early Learning since Spring 2019, when it was still Cartersville Childcare. There have been plenty of ups and downs in that time but I have never doubted for a minute that my children have been loved and cared for here. Both of our children started in the infant class and the teachers in that room were truly such a blessing to our girls and our family as we acclimated to daycare. My children have made meaningful friendships and it’s been amazing to watch them grow and learn. My oldest is now in the Pre-K program and her teachers are exceptional! But I could make a long list of all of the teachers that have invested and poured into my children- and continue to do so! We’ve also watched as the administration has navigated a whole host of challenges (COVID protocols, moving to a new location, staff turnover, etc) and I truly believe that they have always tried to make decisions that are fair and reasonable. When we’ve had concerns about how a certain situation was handled, the Director has always listened to our perspective and has either explained why they were doing things a certain way or offered an alternative as a compromise. Part of running a childcare facility is ensuring the safety and well-being of our children and I truly feel like that is the utmost priority to the administration here. We are incredibly thankful for Excel Early Learning and for all the ways that they love, care for, and teach our children."
"We started taking our son here, and to say their communication is lacking is an understatement, it is non-existent. You ask someone a question about policy and depending on what time of the day, or day of the week and who you ask it's constantly a different answer. We asked about dietary restrictions and were told that you just need a doctor's note. We bring the doctors note and then get told we need something else, in the meantime they continue giving our son the item that he is not supposed to have. The director here shows zero care or compassion for your child. Even when admitting to doing something incorrectly she blows you off like it shouldn't matter. We have also came in during snack time and seen not all children getting snacks. If you want your children to be even remotely cared for properly then this isn't the place they shouldn't come here. Until they can hire administrators that actually care about your children."
"I find it funny that the 5 star reviews at this place are from the director or her family members. Do not send your child here. I promise there are better options. My children were not cared for and we ever got lawyers involved. This child care was found guilty in several areas. My friends kids are always coming home with marks on them. Some staff are great and some- just arent. Everyone is unhappy. Just save yourself time and dont even make an appointment to go. Your child will not get the best care."
"My experience there was not pleasant. They tell me on the phone there is room available. Then when I arrive in person the director and someone else are engaged in conversation. The person closest to me did not greet me but turned around and gave me the ugliest most hateful look I have ever seen and turned around and kept talking. The director came out from behind the desk super friendly and said there weren't any slots available. By that time I had already decided that it wasn't what I was looking for anyway. They are always so unfriendly and unwelcoming to people who are "different". I thought this was supposed to be a church based center well being ugly to a potential parent just because they look different then you and you mistakenly think the parent is a child and they are older then you is not the way to go. Practice the golden rule and what the good book says. Meanwhile I am not going back over there and will not recommend it."
"My son has gone here since he was 6 weeks old! He's 4. Staff is the same, like family and top quality. Best in Bartow County!"
