"The inside was nice and I liked the fence in porch areas. However the beds were hard and the pillows were flat. There’s not that much to do would have been better if there was someone there. No attendant or manager. At night it was kind of eerie being all alone. Would have been better if the lodge had some kind of amenities or entertainment for guests like a game room or a movie room something along that nature."
"The cabins in the park were full. We were able to stay just one night by calling the park directly. The cottage was very clean. We would like to come back & stay longer. We did not have time to take advantage of the screened porch. Great place to stay for visiting the Okefenokee. Tip: bring everything you may need to eat, the nearest restaurant & groceries are far & in the opposite direction of the park."
"Very nice. Very clean but The custodians there were very rude. I understand this is a state owned facility and the custodians here are not from this area. Not even this state. The wife was very rude and vindictive. She knew we would need the vacuum cleaner to clean with after our wedding reception, instead of leaving it out for us to use, she locks it away. I mean really?? People that are given this type of responsibility need to have better people skills and manners.... in other words LEARN SOME SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY... CONCERNED FARGO RESIDENT"
"Best place to stay if you want to explore the swamp with your family. Lovely cottages with comfy beds, screened porches, air conditioning and full kitchens with pots and utensils so you can cook "at home." The two bedroom cottages are huge, with separate beds and bathrooms and a very large living room space and full kitchen. It is about 20 minutes to drive over to Stephen C. Foster park from the Eco-lodge. Be aware that Fargo is a teeny tiny town with one restaurant, one gas station and now, an awesome Dollar General! Everything is closed by 10:00 at night so be prepared if you are getting to town late."
"Very nice area quite and secluded. Better bring your bread, milk, and eggs because closest grocery store in about 30 miles out. Very clean cottages. Good ac and heat. Huge bathroom and tree frogs everywhere."
