"I dropped off my wedding set as well as a bracelet that my ex husband bought me that i wanted to get appraised. This was on 6/2/20. I know how much the bracelet was worth because he bought it from there. I wasn't told when i dropped off my jewelry that there was a fee for the apprasial. I also asked that they have my wedding ring removed from the engagement ring (they were soldered together) and that was a charge of $20. They kept my jewelry until 7/1/20. When i went to pick up my jewelry i was told it would cost $80. I was like for what? I was told it would cost $20. Then i realized it was for the apprasial. Mr. Steve Allen came jumping out of his office and said "you weren't told there was a charge for the apprasial? I said no. So he snatched the apprasial back and said well we'll just take the apprasial back and you can just pay for the removal of your wedding band. Who waited on you? I told him that i didn't remember even though I did, I wasn't about to get the lady in trouble. I have never dealt with anyone so rude in my life. What he should have done is said well since no one told you there was a charge for the apprasial, then this time we won't charge you but from now on there is a charge of ..... But no he wanted to be a straight up a***. I won't do business with them again."
