"About 18 months ago, before Covid upset everyone's routine, I went into CR Rader Jewelers to see if someone could help enclose a lock of hair into an old gold locket. It was a tricky fit, and I had unsuccessfully visited a number of shops previously. The man (Mr. Rader?) behind the counter spent at least an hour trying various tools and tactics until he was successful. I did not know the shop or man who rescued me, but he solved my long-standing problem. The cost? Nothing - despite my attempts to at least pay for his time. His was a courtly gesture and greatly appreciated. In my estimation, CR Rader Jewelers rates highly."
