"Absolutely disappointed with this business! After years of patronage I will no longer be using this business. The ridiculous excuses and lack of customer service is inexcusable. The amount of money I have spent and the amount I intended to spend there should have motivated a more focused response from the staff. Sadly in this market I have many other businesses to use. From closing without advance notice to months long delays for routine work is simply rude. Unprofessional!"

"We have bought multiple pieces of jewelry here over the years. Tried to give them our business for our wedding rings and engagement ring. We basically had to do all the leg work no one would call us when things came in kept having to contact them for updates. Finally got sick of it and spent our money else where. Tried to give another shot for a necklace we purchased there for repair as the chain broke. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything I call to find it hasn’t been repaired and the lady on the phone told me I should purchase a thicker one it’s too delicate and will break again since I wear it with a pendant; however they are the ones who sold me this chain with the pendant on it.. picked it up and will take my business elsewhere"

"Took some items for repair, a diamond bracelet with a broken link and a charm bracelet to have charms soldered on it. Ask they just do the work and call us when it's done, as we trusted them. 3 weeks later haven't heard from them, so I called to inquire. Was told they were "waiting to call and give us an "estimate " for the work". When I asked the delay, I was put on hold and then disconnected. So I called back and got a recording that "this number isn't accepting calls from you"! When I went to reclaim my items, the diamond bracelet had been repaired, but a diamond was missing. They claim to have a recording of me bringing in the bracelet showing it missing a diamond, but I haven't seen this. Completely unprofessional and exceedingly poor customer service. One of the charms they never put on my bracelet came.frim this store."

"I’ve used Schomburg’s for watch repair twice and they’ve always been very prompt. Their associates are very customer service oriented and very helpful. I’m always greeted with a smile and if they are assisting other customers they still acknowledge my presence and help me as soon as they can.
