"We built a new pool last Fall which came with a “courtesy” 30 day Agreement from a Pool Service Company to “maintain” it for us. Well, one would think a Company would go out of their way to make a good impression when they’re brought in by a Pool Construction Company on a $100K+ build, yet they never got the water clear the entire time they serviced us. I interviewed eight different Companies, making sure I found one Certified to work on my equipment, and that wasn’t talking down to me about how they were going to take care of our needs. After reviewing our options, I chose the PhD Pool Doctor and their first visit, they determined our water was totally out of balance, and it was so bad, we actually had to drain the pool and restart the treatments because it couldn’t be shocked back to proper levels. Once we did that, our pool has been crystal clear, and not only do they service it like clockwork, they have set up our robotic pool cleaner ( when the other Pool Tech Company was supposed to but didn’t), and provided an electrician to help us put in an outlet by our pumping station for the cleaner so it would be less intrusive to our walkways.
