"I had intended to send my external hard drive to another business that recovers data, but was led to believe that this business would easily be able to do the job in a timely manner (originally, I was told it would likely be done within 24-48hrs). I handed it off to them on a Wednesday and did not hear back for a week. This was after repeated calls the following Monday and Tuesday that were unanswered (I also left a voice message for a callback, but no response). They finally answered my call on Wednesday afternoon and informed me that they couldn't fix the device because they didn't have clean room facilities. Isn't this pretty much the norm for data recovery from external hard drives?!? It seems pretty misleading that this wasn't conveyed at the outset. As I communicated to them originally, I am going overseas this Friday for a considerable amount of time and needed this done quickly. Now, a process that likely would have been done using another business will have to wait. I am frustrated, to say the least."
