LaGrange Transmission

"Just used this place several years ago and have had friends use them since, even as recent as this year. We all had the same problems after a complete transmission rebuild that we had before we took it. Don’t fall into this trap."

"I took my truck here for a problem with my transmission. It was not shifting correctly and I wasn’t sure if it was actually a transmission problem or an electrical issue. They told me it was a bad transmission and they were going to charge me $5500 to rebuild it. I had a gut feeling that it was the wrong diagnosis. I took it somewhere else and I was able to get it fixed for $250. I do not recommend this business"

"After traveling 4 of 8 hours from Greenville SC to Destin FL, my car’s protective shield underneath came loose and the sheet metal was scraping against the concrete. I promptly pulled over to the nearest exit and assessed the situation. Calling local repair shops, the owner of LaGrange was the only one to answer my call. I was luckily only a few minutes from his shop but didn’t want to drive my car in the case that the shield would completely come undone. The owner of LaGrange (I believe his name was Jonathan) drove to where I was and had me follow him back to his shop. His kindness, helpfulness, and knowledge helped me get back on the road within 30 minutes. There aren’t enough words to describe how awesome of a repair shop this is. I highly recommend them to anybody needing auto repair assistance!! Thank you guys!"

"Got my transmission flushed and filled today at a rate that I thought was reasonable and in fact less than the dealership wanted which is a bonus. One thing I always look at when I go into a repair business is see if their shop is clean and organized and it was in great order...... highly recommend, A+"
