"The return process through Dyson is a nightmare. I had to submit a form for them to accept my unopened product..never heard from them. Then had to call and spend an hour on phone to get authorization TWICE because they only did it for one of my 2 items the first time. Now they are saying it can take up to 14 business days after they receive it to issue my refund. No other major company deals with returns this way. It is rediculous. I love their products but will never purchase from them again."
"Actually this is a misinformation which the customer care gave me on the phone- I called them around Black Friday and asked them for the repair of my 5 year old upright vacuum. I was quoted much less on the phone, so I dropped the idea of buying a new one and get the one repaired which I have. After driving 50 miles I was quoted 2.5 times more than what the customer care quoted me. I had no option but to go ahead with the repair and not too happy about it."
"Waste of time once your product is out of warranty. Although my very expensive vacuum is only 3 years old, the troubleshooting tool on Dyson’s website indicated I needed a new main body that costs $100. I spoke with a customer service rep who said the vacuum shouldn’t need one so soon and guided me through tapping out some dust. That didn’t help, so I took it to this service center to get it checked out. The so-called service person looked at it for about 30 seconds then said he couldn’t even diagnose the issue unless I purchased the main body, which he could install for $130. (Installing one requires only unscrewing the battery, which I can easily do myself.) He offered no further explanation or help. No thank you! I reluctantly ordered the main body from Dyson’s website. (They did agree to give me a discount.) When that wears out, you’d best believe I’ll be buying a Shark."
"We just had the greatest experience ever at this store. Within minutes, Roberto had fully repaired two of our Dyson vacuums to perfect condition THEN he refused to charge us a dime. We are in total shock that this type of service still exists in the world. Wow! What a fantastic company. We will never own another brand."
"I don't think I can say enough good things about this Dyson Service Center! I showed up 90% convinced that my 4+ year-old (out of warranty) Supersonic blow dryer would need to be replaced, but the technician spotted the issue immediately and showed it to me (a massively clogged filter that could/should only be cleaned by a Dyson tech), then went to the back for maybe five minutes and emerged with a now-functioning blow dryer! Oh, and at NO CHARGE!!! I went from thinking I was going to have to replace my Dyson for about $430 to no charge for the tech to get it up and running again! Thank you thank you thank you! :) :) :)"
