"If you have a choice, don’t rent here. This lovely apartment complex features leaking roofs, mold in the ceiling and mold in air vents. Consistently having work done on apartments and roof but nothing gets fixed. At least three layers of paint on every surface. Floors that have visible holes as well as carpet spikes showing in doorways. Bathroom is awful! Bathroom sink was pulling away from the wall and had dripping faucet. Mold in every corner of the bathroom tile as well as visible screws and nails in floor. Outdated appliances, unlit stairwell and unlit emergency exit signs. Has no central alarm system to let you know that there’s a fire in the building. Constantly dealing with roaches and other pest as foundation is not closed off. Plus venue next door has loud events. Long story short wasn’t worth the price that I paid and certainly isn’t worth the price that you will pay. Also keep your receipts to your money orders as they like to play games when under new management. Save your time and look elsewhere for housing."
"Only putting five stars so this shows up. I DO NOT recommend this place. When we moved in our ac was broken. It was months later and cold outside once it was finally fixed. Every time I called the office they never answered. I’ve left messages multiple times and never received a call back. Online it says office is open by appointment only but you can’t get anyone on the phone to set an appointment. I’ve literally had the office personnel walk away from me while I’m talking and also ignored me when I knocked on the office door. This is really frustrating because I’m in the process of moving out and they tell me everything should be good as long as I communicate with them. HOW can you when NO ONE answers the phone or door ever!!!!!"
"I have lived at Poplar Grove apartments for 3 years. They are close to many things. They are well maintained. If I call in a needed repair, it is fixed in a timely fashion. The yard is also maintained well."
