"My two-year stay at Walton on the Chattahoochee had its ups and downs. On the positive side, the complex offers stunning views of the river, and the maintenance team was generally prompt in addressing issues. The staff members were consistently friendly and helpful, which made living here a pleasant experience. Additionally, it felt safe, and if I had children, I would feel comfortable with them living here on their own. However, there were some significant drawbacks. During my time there, my apartment, along with neighboring units, faced a persistent roach infestation that took too long to address. Additionally, there was an alarming incident where a rat was spotted, prompting us to take matters into our own hands with sticky traps before the complex intervened. (We caught two rats using the traps.) Although pest control eventually resolved the issue, it took longer than expected. Billing was another area of concern. I noticed discrepancies in our water and sewer bills, which were rectified only after I brought it to the complex's attention. While the billing issues were eventually resolved, the lack of transparency was frustrating. Furthermore, there were instances where groundskeeping activities would commence early in the morning, disrupting sleep, especially for those who work late nights. Additionally, the ongoing renovations throughout the complex, including apartment refurbishments, tree removal, and pavement redoing, were aimed at increasing property value but often interfered with tranquility. It's worth noting that Walton Communities operates under a unique ownership structure where each investor holds priority holdings within certain properties. While the specifics of the investor count may not be publicly available, it's evident that significant renovations are underway throughout the complex, indicating potential shifts in ownership dynamics. Given the ongoing changes, it seems likely that adjustments within the investor portfolio may be on the horizon. In summary, Walton on the Chattahoochee has its merits, including responsive staff and picturesque views. However, improvements are needed in maintaining cleanliness, transparency in billing practices, and minimizing disruptions caused by groundskeeping and renovations."

"Walton on the Chattahoochee is a very unique oasis in Atlanta. Nothing could be better than living on the Chattahoochee River. It has a resort-like atmosphere. The grounds are well maintained and are for the lovers of nature. The woodland garden gives you a feeling of being in the woods with the comfort of mulched paths, comfortable sitting areas, as well as beautiful woodsy, well maintained landscaping. Although the units date back to the 70's, the management has updated many units and are very accommodating to making repairs and improvements. They respond quickly to any service requests. We also appreciate the diverse population that lives here. There is a mix of many age groups as well as many ethnicities. We have also found that there are many residents who have lived here for many years. I guess this is a true testament to it being a very pleasant place to live."

"I was actually coming to the coffee shop which is inside their complex. Parking for the coffee shop was almost nonexistent due to the complexes lawn car providers taking 8 spaces. I parked in one of the residential parking spaces for a meeting and stopped by the office to ask where else could I park? They were very rude and dismissive both of the women speaking to me. They told me to drive around until I can find parking. I asked about all of their empty spaces since I would be here for only 30 mins, they told me no and said they can’t do anything. Not sure how they treat their residence but with this kind of attitude I’m assuming not well."
