"I looooove this place! Just like everywhere else you’re going to have problems nobody’s perfect tighten up people! Some of the reviews on here are a soul ridiculous. I love Andre (maintenance supervisor), Lymell (maintenance tech) Adonya (property manager), Crystal (assistant manager) their customer service skills and 24 hours maintenance is unmatched. The property is always neat and clean and I will Be renewing my lease here!"

"I've been living here for around 4 months and I have had a great experience. No apartment is perfect by any means, but maintenance has been very helpful and timely and management is nice. The complex itself is in a very beautiful area which is great for walking/running. As long as you don't expect everything to be perfect and realize that apartments are basically houses and have house problems (like the occasional roach, etc) I think you'll love Sloan Square."

"I’ve lived her for 3 years and it’s had its ups and downs. It’s definitely not a “luxury apartment.” My apartment got broken into and robbed august 2021, The lights in the parking lot are not well lit. The leasing office area is pitch black at night. I’ve asked them 3 times to resurface my bathtub and they never will. It’s embarrassing when I have guests over. I would’ve renewed my lease if it wasn’t for managements constant harassment lately. I got a pet violation for not picking up after my dog… but I don’t have a dog.. they ended the violation with a threatening “if I get this violation again my lease will be terminated.” I’m a quiet resident and have NEVER been late on my rent in the 3 years I’ve lived here. But The passive aggressive violations have been ridiculous. I’d rather spend my money somewhere that’s actually a luxury :)"

"DO NOT LIVE HERE! READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE SIGNING YOUR LEASE! I lived in Sloan Square Apartments for 3 years and my experience was less than enjoyable. From my initial move-in the pests and recurring roach infestation in the entire building was a problem that NEVER cleared up no matter how clean my unit was or how many times I called pest control to treat the unit. There is constant turnover in the front office, so you never know who is going to be there and during what times. Getting through to the front office via telephone was also complicated because of this. This made it very difficult to resolve any issues with my unit, especially considering they only had ONE maintenance person throughout my tenure. Andre, the maintenance person, is the only saving grace of this apartment complex, but he is severely overworked and underpaid. They experience constant turnover with new maintenance team members, but Andre had been consistently present while I was there. Rent was also increasing every year, which clearly did not take into account any of the major issues with my unit. In my cheaply renovated unit, I had been unable to open the oven door without knocking into the drawer handles due to poor planning and execution and this was an issue that could not be resolved. Additionally, the cabinets are not brand new, and due to this fact I had a drawer in my kitchen and bathroom that were both falling apart and I was unable to use for the entire 3 years that I was there. I had placed multiple maintenance requests to have them fixed over the years to which I was told on multiple occasions, they could not be fixed due to them being old and them not having new parts. At one point the walls in my unit started cracking and they had painters come in to “patch and paint” the wall- the painters used a paint color that was lighter than my actual wall and when I asked about it, they told me this was the only paint they had and that there was no match for the paint in my unit. Before moving out, I consulted with the maintenance team to find a better paint match so that I could fix it myself to avoid a fine and they told me that they only had the lighter color paint and that they did not know what the color was since my unit was painted many years prior to. Additionally, there have been squirrels/rats stuck in my walls in multiple occasions that have kept me up for hours. In regard to mail safety- the mailboxes have been broken into at least 5 times while I have lived here, and I have had at least 10 packages stolen from my apartment. They did finally add package lockers, but there is no guarantee that the delivery folks will use them and they are always full which was resulted in delivery folks just leaving packages on the ground since the front office does not accept packages. My car has also been broken into along with multiple other cars in the complex. There is no true security in the complex and the one camera by the mailbox does not work. The gym is subpar and the pool area is typically closed for maintenance. There is no gate and no regulation of parking which results in there never being enough parking, which forces residents to park on the curbs and anywhere they can fit their cars. As you can imagine, it is a complete disaster, especially at night. I tried NOT to leave a bad review BUT POST MOVING OUT THEY HAVE CHARGED ME FOR ALL OF THE THINGS I MENTIONED EARLIER, they have taken my entire security deposit and charged me additional charges for things that I have reported and requested to have fixed on multiple occasions. Upon receiving their charges, I called and emailed the office to dispute the charges to which no response was ever received. I never heard about the charges again UNTIL THE CHARGES WERE SENT TO COLLECTIONS. So now, I am forced to pay out additional funds to clear up my credit report because the leasing office refuses to communicate with me. My personal recommendation is DO NOT LIVE HERE! Find somewhere else and do not end up regretting your choice like I did."
