Reviews of The Pines At Lawrenceville Apartments
"New office manager every 6 months….the property is filthy but I left one piece of furniture by the dump and received an email….new manager will bully you for pointing out issues they can not handle…they went up on the rent last year but I’ve seen little to no improvements."
"False advertising. Theft. And no help from the main office. Looks nothing like the pictures"
"I’ve been living here for almost 2 years and I have to say it’s very quiet and the rental office is very nice and understanding. I would recommend this place to anyone. Ask for Regina I swear she is the best and will help you out in anyway she can."
"love the community so peaceful the office lady regina so nice and helpful"
"UPDATED REVIEW: PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DO NOT MOVE HERE! ** There is so much more that I can say that I left out but I just want to point out that after all of the hassle of taking time out my lunch break to visit Pinewood Townhomes twice just to get a laundry card and load it, I go to do my laundry and after the machine was "done" I found that my clothes were soaked with water, the soap never dissolved and my clothes did not wash. I ran the machines twice and the same thing happen. So not only did I waste my time three times, and have to remove soaking wet, unwashed clothes from the machine, I now have wasted my money. No-one, even had the decency to tell me the machines are not working. This isn't the worst place to live BUT I would say please explore further options before considering moving here. I recently moved here less than a month ago and from the very beginning, I noticed several red flags. Firstly, the experience of leasing at this property is extremely impersonal. You are not given a tour but instead are given instructions on how to access a lockbox with a key to do a self-guided tour. Upon inspection of the breezeway and the apartment, I found that the conditions of the building are less than acceptable. The breezeway is carpeted (makes zero sense) and it is obvious that no one cleans it due to the bad smell, pet hair, and numerous stains. The staircase is FILLED with spider webs and massive spiders (I have pictures). Upon entering the apartment, I noticed several red flags.... dirty cabinets, dirty oven, broken blind, dusty vents, paint-chipped bathroom door, etc. I had to reach out to the leasing office on two separate occasions with picture evidence to have this rectified. While some of the problems were addressed, I would say that that apartment still isn't at 100%. Upon moving in no-one explained the laundry situation in that residents are required to go to an entire other property off of the premises (Pinewood Townhomes in Tucker) to purchase and load a laundry card EVERY time you want to do laundry in which you have to set an appointment to do so during their business hours (not conducive to someone who works day time hours). The dumpsters are filled with garbage all around them and is never cleaned up properly, and although I have had a visit from "pest-control" I have seen two roaches and a water-bug in the two weeks that I have been here. Overall, it's very sad how much this management company does not care about its tenants. I understand that this is not a "luxury" building, but cleanliness is the BARE minimum for any dwelling, luxury or not. We still pay our hard-earned money to live here (rent is not cheap btw), and no one cares about the living conditions. If I do not start to see any changes, i.e. people coming to clean the breezeways and take care of the trash conditions, I will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau."
