"My grandmother lives here and the leasing office gives her so much trouble. We are tired of you guys making the same mistakes every single time. Please get it together. This community is full of our elders, so why does this leasing center treat them so poorly and take their money every single month? They don’t care and never will and justice will be served."
"As a resident of Silver Oak since May 2020, I need to address the serious issues affecting our community. Despite multiple attempts to address structural concerns, the management’s neglect has reached an unacceptable level. A neighbor’s kitchen leak flooded my unit for over a month back in June 2023 without proper action. Despite promises to rectify this, only a carpet shampooing was offered, jeopardizing my son’s health, leading to his recent hospitalization 12/21/23-12/24/23 and now a lifetime reliance on a maintenance inhaler. The lack of upkeep extends beyond our units. False promises about amenities, including the closed pool and subpar gym facilities, letting the lawn grow over 14 inches tall, have added to our dissatisfaction as residents. Not to mention I’ve been waiting for a lease renewal for two years. I pay my rent and am a staple in this community. It’s crucial for everyone to understand the true conditions at Silver Oak. This neglect has not only impacted our living conditions but also posed serious health risks. Sharing this is essential to highlight the reality here at Silver Oak. I’d like to note, I am not the only one going through a situation like this."
"Don't move here if you can help it. The people in the Leasing office are grossly inconsiderate and go about their day as if you're an inconvenience to them. They are afforable housing and so I did the application, paid my money only for the lady who works there to disregard my paperwork and would constantly lie about the process moving forward everytime I would call or go check for an update. They don't respond to emails and they barely answer the phone. Things happen for a reason and I'm grateful that I didn't move here because I honestly felt like it was my last resort. The property is poorly maintained. I drove around and asked some of the residents I passed by how is it living there and no one had anything positive to say. Units flood, it takes weeks before maintenance fix anything, they lock the Leasing office from 12:45 to 2:30, and people they evict belongings are just scattered about. Maybe if they get new people in the office who know what they're doing, it would be better."
"Not a good complex at all. Nobody is ever in the leasing office, nobody ever answers the phone. It’s just so much I could write. A few months ago police entered my brother apartment without his knowledge and he came out his room to guns pointing at him. He was told they were looking for someone and their apartment was supposed to be vacant. Which lets me know that they aren’t doing their job in the leasing office because how could the police think this was a vacant apartment, and the whole situation could have ended badly nobody ever reached out or explained that situation at all. Now today my brother’s apartment is flooding everywhere even after last week he let maintenance know there was a leak and disgusting water stains forming everywhere. Someone came over to look but never returned. So instead of dealing with the issue THAT day nothing was ever done. Now TODAY the apartment is completely flooding and OF COURSE the emergency maintenance line is unresponsive. The worst complex ever seriously. Stay away!"
