Reviews of Elme Eagles Landing
"Please call Stockbridge Code Enforcement if things aren’t being done in your apartments. I continue to call and email them and will continue to do so until my apartment issues are completed. This place is bad news and needs new management. So many bad reviews about the staff and the management team. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. My apartment still has problems. I send thousands of email with no reply but they call themselves professionals. The manager sits in her office and takes the word of her staff who clearly have an issue with telling the truth. I have never seen anything like this. The manager is yet to reply to an email, give me a call, or come by my apartment to check to see what has been completed or not. I have over 10 maintenance request in and when they send someone to do the work they break something else. Instead of putting the money into the apartments they try patching things up and it’s never done correctly. I have also called Corporate office and they also have not responded. I have only lived here 1 month and I tell you I regret signing the lease for this place. PLEASE WHATEVER YOU DO STAY AWAY. Try the Abby, Carmel Vista, Jodeco Landing Apartments. It may cost you more but TRUST me it’s worth it.UPDATE BELOW UPDATE 1/6/2024 I have finally moved out and I feel so much better. They allowed me to break my lease but now are charging me a full months rent and a termination fee- $750 fee and $1540 a months rent. I moved out Dec 1, 2023 because the last month I was there my entire apartment flooded and the staff threw my belongings in my tub and sink. I reached out to management regarding this issue and was promised a gift card… which I never received and they offered to clean my person rug that got wet. Never the less I am still battling them over my remaining balance of $2300 they claim I owe them. It’s funny to me that I continued to pay my rent on time as my apartment was falling apart by the week. They agreed to terminate my lease due to my apartment being trash and yet still want me to give them more money that they don’t deserve. I have contacted the regional manager no response and the new office manager no response. They changed management and staff but yet are still unprofessional. I don’t get it. The Elme went from a completely racist staff minus Hannah to an unprofessional one I don’t know what’s worse at this point? I thank God he got me out of this place. I’’m sleeping peacefully at night now. BIG THANKS to the Stockbridge code Enforcement and Georgia Commission on Equal Opportunity for all their help."
"I moved in July of 2023. Two months had gone by and I never received my deposit back. Finally someone admitted they hadn't submitted the request for my return. They said it was submitted in September, but now it's January and I still don't have it. I've spoken to everyone there except the office manager, Adrian, who is ALWAYS "in a meeting". The email I was provided to contact her was invalid. They won't allow you to contact the actual company who handles those refunds either. I'm telling you, do yourself a big favor and look elsewhere. They will keep your money and offer you no help in returning it. They simply do not care."
"Terrible Customer Service Experience I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Elme Eagles Landing Apartments (specifically Tyler and on occasion Hannah). The customer service and how they deal with potential renters I must say was horrendous. When we first toured the model apartment, Tyler was indeed very pleasant…It wasn’t until the application process began when we started to notice a dramatic shift in her attitude. it was clear that she had no regards for customers or their satisfaction. After we finally got the application process moving, trying to reach Tyler or any representative was an absolute nightmare. The wait times were ridiculously long, and when I finally got through, they seemed disinterested and unhelpful. Their lack of empathy and professionalism was evident throughout the entire conversation. To make matters worse, they seemed completely uninformed about their own apartment rental process and policies. I had some basic questions, but they were unable to provide any clear answers. Furthermore, Tyler’s and Hannah's tone were condescending and dismissive. Instead of trying to address my questions and concerns, they seemed more interested in rushing me off the call. It was as if they were doing me a favor by tolerating my questions, which is completely unacceptable when dealing with potential renters. Even after escalating the issue to a manager, there was no improvement in the level of service. Overall, my experience with Elme Eagles Landing Apartments customer service was a complete nightmare. The lack of professionalism, knowledge, and empathy displayed by these rental agents (Tyler and Hannah) was truly disappointing. I expected better from a company of their stature, but it's clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them. I strongly urge potential renters to think twice before engaging with Elme Eagles Landing Apartments. Their abysmal customer service will only lead to frustration and disappointment. Now I see why the reviews are they way they are…This is sad."
"It’s officially been 3 weeks since I’ve moved into a new unit here and to say I’m frustrated is an understatement. I’ve expressed my concerns and problems with every single employee that works inside of the office, including the manager of the property. I’ve been promised every time that someone will be out to fix the issues in my unit. I have paid a lot of money to live here including a deposit and the unit was not up to standard for new residents to move in. I should have taken it as a red flag when the office informed me the previous tenants turned in their keys 5 days prior to my move in date. I thought to myself how can you prepare a unit for new resident in less than 5 days? I trusted they would get the job done. The day of my move in I found a plethora of things that were damaged & never fixed or simply half fixed. I took photos, sent emails, made phone calls and spoke to the correct channels about getting these issues resolved. The problems in my unit are as big as I’m not able to lock my door and as small as not being able to take a bath in one of my bathrooms. My safety is my biggest concern and I’ve lost all of my patience. How was I required to pay a deposit on a unit that was never ready to be moved into? Ps : the office will reply to the review and pretend they are here to help and they aren’t"
"I am new to the city and these were the first apartments I applied for while searching. Tyler was my leasing agent and made me feel so welcome and made sure my move-in process was smooth. She is phenomenal and one of the best leasing agents I have encountered! Update:After moving from another city for a fresh start and staying here 5 months I regret ever moving into this apartment complex and is the absolute worst! I never had to do a bad review on any apartment I stayed in. Tyler and Hannah have always been so helpful that’s the only reason I’m always patient! My apartment is falling apart, every week I’m having water leaks and maintenance never completes your work orders or they put it in as complete and never fix the issue! Roaches are getting bad due to the water. The apartments are overpriced and not worth what you pay. I recently had a sky high light bill due to my HVAC unit being improperly installed and not being able to shut it off an issue that wasn’t my fault. Nobody has contacted me back yet after we spoke the first time about the problem. My kids aren’t comfortable staying here due to some incidents over the summer so me having these things going on makes it worse. I pay way too much for rent for my issues to be overlooked. Please look more into the complex before moving here because at this point I just stop submitting work orders because nobody cares and I’m just waiting for my lease to be up!"
