"I regret to express my dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs in my residence. Within the first two months of my occupancy, a persistent issue with my toilet arose. Despite engaging with Edward from the leasing office, and appreciating his efforts, the matter remains unresolved. Maintenance attributed the problem to excessive paper in the toilet, though I had only recently moved in and could not influence the conditions preceding my tenancy. Seeking further assistance, I approached the leasing office, desiring to discuss the matter with the manager, Claudia. Unfortunately, the encounter was marked by a lack of courtesy, with a dismissive tone and an immediate assumption of fault on my part. This interaction left me disheartened and offended, as it implied a lack of familiarity with proper toilet usage. In addition to the plumbing issue, maintenance visits lack proper documentation, and the valet trash service has proven inconsistent, leaving refuse at my door for extended periods. My prior three-year tenancy in another apartment complex was without incident in these regards. This cumulative experience, within a mere two months, has been profoundly disconcerting and uncomfortable. While the leasing agents have demonstrated some degree of professionalism, the management, particularly Claudia, has exhibited a lack of regard for customer service. Urgent intervention is indispensable in preserving the integrity of the living conditions and upholding the standards of customer service expected in a residential community of this nature….especially in a one-bedroom residence. This is unethical and disgraceful, despite highlighting the urgency of my situation through emergency calls, the gravity of the plumbing issues has not been appropriately acknowledged. The attributions of the problem to my actions have been inconsistent, shifting from tissue to feminine products, creating a sense of confusion and frustration. Despite reaching out to corporate through multiple calls and messages, there has been no response. I sincerely hope for a prompt resolution to these matters to restore a sense of comfort and satisfaction in my living arrangements."
"Horrible. All entry doors and parking gates are broken and have been for over a month. The elevator is not working. Very unsafe environment and management says they are looking for cheaper quotes to complete repairs. Entry doors are propped open with bricks so anyone can gain access to units. Management is incompetent and extremely rude. Avoid this complex."
"DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! Been here for seven years. Love it when I first move here. Property mgr was great . Had a great concern for the residents. Since I’ve been at this property, there has been 5 different property mgr. This current mgr Claudia Ruiz hands down is the worst. She is very rude, not friendly, short with her words. She handles residents as if she is paying your rent ( Rent Free) N you’re bothering her. Correction …. I pay 2300 month For 2/1. Along with trash 25…00 Ooh Now for the first year. 50.00 a/month for the washer and dryer in the unit. . pest control, mail/ locker room. Etc. The building/ architecture itself is nice. My apartment unit is nice. It’s a gated community which I loved, Not to mention the area is great. However, things have change. There’s a safety concern. The units are being used for Airbnb, which they are aware of. Security Gates / doors have been inoperable for a month now.. I’ve complained sent e-mail.. called corporate First Communities, Left messages. No call back from First Communities. Still not fixed./ resolve. THEY DO NOT CARE……. Find a property that cares and is concern about residents. I am in the process of purchasing. If I could break my lease right now I would."
"Prospective tenant beware! I'm writing this review at 5:09 pm on August 28, 2023. This community used to be well kept and nice to live in. It is a perfect location to access all of what Atlanta has to offer. However, since First Communities took over last summer it has gone downhill. It takes maintenance anywhere from 4-6 weeks to resolve an issue. The office staff, Claudia and Saul are rude and condescending and could care less about customer service. Edward is pleasant and tries his best to be helpful. There was an issue with my rent payment back in March, I asked Saul about it several times and he lied to me saying there wasn't any issue with the overpayment. It took almost two weeks before he finally adjusted the credit, but only after I reached out to upper management. Management recently started charging a $50 appliance fee for the washer and dryers without replacing/upgrading to new washer and dryer appliances. When I asked Saul about these charges, he stated that "the property was looking for ways to make more money." A scam! Valet trash is a joke! Trash is supposed to be picked up on Sunday nights- Thursday nights. Last week, valet trash only came twice, Tuesday night and Thursday night. The service also did not come last night. So as you can see in the pictures attached, trash is still sitting out in the hallway, which not only looks bad but it smells bad in this Georgia heat. To this day, there has been no communication from management regarding this issue. Residents are allowed to leave dog poop and their trash in the hallway and stairway. The gates are always broken and as you can see whenever it rains there is a leak in the hallway near the staircase that has yet to be fixed. There is a door that is broken in building 1, and a part is hanging down that is dangerous. There is nothing "luxury" about this apartment community. I would not recommend this property or any other property from First Community."
