The Enclave at Riverside Village

"The negatives far outweigh the positives. It goes without saying that a “virtual tour only” is hiding some things. Here, it’s hiding roaches and other pests, marijuana and cigarette smoke every day from surrounding neighbors, very thin walls and creaky ceilings, among other things. On move-in, the carpets had not been cleaned, there were layers of dust, grime, and grease on every appliance (plus old roach baits), and the walls and ceiling were stained yellow by previous smokers even though the lease agreement has a non-smoking clause. I had my first baby while living here and the first few months of her life were so stressful trying to navigate all the above things and keep her happy, healthy, and safe. Every day has been a countdown to moving day. For the positives: I will say that Heidi is a great maintenance manager and always responds promptly. Boris did fairly well during his stint as maintenance manager, but we had some issues with the way things were resolved. At one point, the plumber cut a hole in our bathroom ceiling with day-of notice to fix the upstairs neighbor’s plumbing. Left the hole for several days. A rat fell through into our tub! Pest control is given on request, but in a complex with shared walls, it should really be mandatory in all units to fix the issues here. For me to ever recommend these apartments, some serious overhaul needs to be done. Sad when this is a great location. These apartments have the potential to be nice with proper care, oversight, and lease enforcement. As-is, I do not recommend."

"I only enjoyed the food delivery service and easy transportation to work, grocery store and getting to my mailbox. Since I been here a lot of things need to be address like damaged appliances, mailbox been damage since last year, visitors and guest constantly complaining about the stairs. Ppl not getting their mail. Two previous neighbors I had, had roaches before they moved and the other was evicted. And inspection not properly being done til you move in or out. Damage bedroom socket. Marijuana smell in your apat when you come home from work and you don't smoke. And asking for peephole on your door when it should of been on the door before moving in. And Brian, Adrienne, Pam or Maria never not one time ask my brother and I how much worth of groceries we threw out because of that damaged refrigerator we had to have fixed 3 times and then replaced the 4th time."
