"Most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. Do not rent from this lady she is unethical and deceitful. She rent's out 600 square feet apts to people with several children .How that is legal I have no idea. When an apartment goes empty she puts thier stuff in their parking place for 30 days which to me is insane for an apartment complex. You constantly getting texts and emails about when and how to pay your rent. It's treated like a pay by week motel not an apartment complex. I payed out of my lease and this crazy woman is still trying to harass me for more money. Beware."
"I've lived here a year and a half so far. During this time, management has been great - very helpful, reliable and responsive; the maintenance gentlemen are prompt and polite. Any issues I've had have been resolved super quickly. The rental rate is affordable and that definitely can't be said of a lot of places nowadays. I'm planning on staying!"
"Update as of January 21, 2021: After failed attempts, NO ONE from corporate has contacted me with an update in regard to my final inspection. As of today, I have not received any documentation about my deposit. As I said before, this property hires employees who are unprofessional & does not have effective business skills. It’s not about the money because it’s obvious the property needed the deposit due to lack of tenants, it’s about the principle of treating tenants with respect. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Update as of November 4: Corporate has made contact with me to discuss my experience with the current property manager. I appreciate their efforts in reviewing the professionalism of the current property manager and their willingness to address this situation. This property is good start for newlyweds, small families and recent college grads therefore I would strongly dislike for those individuals to miss out on a good start due to unprofessional property management. On November 2, 2020, I just did my final walk through at New Castle Apartments with property manager Shanna who told me to “get a life” because I had questions. Since she has became the property manager in the last year, she has been rude and unprofessional towards tenants. When I have questions, questions are unwelcome. I NEVER was late on rent, NEVER. I was at this property since February 2012 and I would have never expected to be treated this way. There are other tenants that have complained about her unprofessional behaviors. I am being charged for carpet that is supposed to be pulled up after 7 years. When I made mentioned about the abundance of current vacancies at the apartment, her response was “it’s my job to make vacancies.” The property manager ran off two great maintenance men, who were there for 9 plus years, due to her unprofessionalism and unpleasant demeanor. Please do not move into the apartments. The buildings and gutters have not been cleaned. Trash is left in the parking lot. People drive 40 plus miles per hour. Once again, the property manager is unprofessional and rude. Not a Good Place At All."
"I’ve lived here for almost 10 years and there is a continuous decline in service. I had to harass the management to change my water heater which flooded my floors for months. They are quick to take a check but slow to solve a problem. If you are thinking about renting from here, think again. I work for a large local wireless provider and will make sure my colleagues stay far away. They have been doing maintenance on the plumbing in the streets since I started living here. Their online portal says they have completed maintenance tasks for my apartment they actually haven’t. To get a follow up is like pulling teeth. Currently, you have to call to make an appointment to get your own package but you will be lucky if they answer the phone or call you back. You would think after putting in 7k a year for almost ten years someone would care. I’m not the type to write reviews but it has only gotten that bad. I’ve seen other tenants not even speak up so I know I am not the only one."
