"Best Pizza & Wings in town. Well OK the only Pizza and Wings in town... but still. It's a general convince type store. The card readers at the pumps have not worked for like 10 years. But they do have non ethanol fuel. They sell beer and wine and other basics. They have an area to sit and eat if you want."
"I would rather push my motorcycle to Cooper Creek Country Store than give this lady a dime if I were out of gas. How she stays in business I have no idea. Locals don’t use her and most people that visit the area frequently don’t either. The people at Coopers Creek run a pretty sweet store with gas, camping stuff, cold drinks, hot food, and they don’t close the bathrooms or say they are closing early when you pull up. And the Cooper Creek gas pump works, unlike most pumps at this trashy place."
"Our group of Combat Veterans were on a Memorial Ride last weekend and stopped in this store for a break for gas (even though the majority of the pumps were inoperable), snacks, drinks, & not to mention it was pouring the rain. They immediately hung up a sign saying that their restrooms were closed as soon as we pulled in. They called the Union County Sheriff’s Office on us and when the deputy arrived, they told him that we were acting belligerently. Little did they know that we had already contacted Union County S.O. to help escort us safely out onto another highway which was just a few miles ahead of where we were. The officer was very familiar with this store, as apparently this is a very common occurrence with the store owners and motorcyclists. Even though it was raining heavily, and the pumps weren’t working, the store owners other complaint was that we were blocking the pumps. There were no other customers waiting for gas, even at the pump that did work. So we all had to move our bikes into the pouring rain, but the deputy was kind enough not to make us all leave out into such a terrible rainstorm. Needless to say, we will not be stopping and making any other purchases from this store anytime in the near future. This is a huge area for motorcycles and people hiking the AT and with the right owners/managers, this could have the potential of being a great place for a store! Too bad it won’t happen as long as these people are here."
"If I could give this place less than one star I would! The lady is totally rude and crabby and I will never stop there again! Bought some bread there for camping and when we got back to the campsite realized it was molded plus she charged $6.42 for a container of worms. Do yourself a huge favor and drive fifteen more minutes past there to Coopers Creek store! It’s awesome with super nice people and delicious food plus they have a good selection of camping, fishing and household items."
