"I worked with Robert Whirley for several years and found him to be a less than adequate accountant. Two years in a row, he instructed me to pay more taxes than I owed. Once we realized the error, he informed me that there was nothing he could do. The excess would have to be applied to the following year. This meant that I spent two years with thousands of dollars of my money in the government’s bank account. The final straw fell this year when he sent out a mass email to all of his clients. It expressed his views on the military, patriotism, and what he thought of “taking a knee.” I found this to be unprofessional and very offensive, and I wrote him an email to say so. He neither apologized nor agreed to stop sending his political opinions to myself and his other customers. I informed him I would need to relieve him of my affairs. Save yourself the headache and choose another accountant!"
